Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s Founding Father, Dies at 91

.
That is a over statement. Deng xiaoping philosophy and his character was mould during long March and the chinese civil war.

It's not a over statement. China really learned a lot of experiences from Singapore and Lee Kuan Yew, during the beginning time of open and reform, and look following foto:

The only thing that I appreciated from Lee Kuan Yew is that at least he was not a hypocrite to criticize that China is not a 'democratic regime', since his own government is also authoritarian, and he was not that thick skinned and dared to say such thing to China.
He himself said that he dislikes "one man one vote" system. So why would he criticise China for not being democratic? He was a realistic person who didn't buy "political correctness" bs so he said what be believed in directly.

Let's not argue in this thread, please, gentlemen. Rather, let this thread be focused on the memory of the late Sensei.

Let his name be honored, and given obeisance here.

The Father of Singapore has yielded....
