Leading a double life in Pakistan

I wish transgender people actually respected themselves. In west, they get education and normal jobs etc, living a normal life. In Pakistan they prefer to make dancing in such ways (most of them) which gives a notion to the people that, this is all they can do and thus preventing people from accepting them as a part of economical society. There is nothing wrong with dancing lol women do it too BUT if thats all you do instead of running in politics etc, being students in normal schools, raising awareness about themselves, people are consciously or unconsciously be a bit biased.

The topic is still taboo in Pakistan like many other topics, unfortunately. I have come across people who will not hesitate to blame trans for their misfortune in our society, a society where only two genders are accepted as normal.
People blaming trans for their situation in Pakistan should ask themselves, how many of you will hire a trans a personal driver, a cook, a tailor or a personal secretary?
Even the families of the trans people disown owing to non acceptability of our society. There seem to be two ways only where trans people can earn money
1 - Begging
2 - Prostitution
And when an average person sees them in one of the both "professions" he/she assumes this to be the only thing they willingly chose without realizing that these are the "only" two professions they have been pushed to.

Measures should be taken to educate the masses and provide equal opportunities to them as well.
Students need to mobilize on this issue rather falling prey to cultural misuse.
