Leading a double life in Pakistan

Ok :)

Give me 5mins

It was basically in short how religiously and non-religiously intersex are accepted by both categories and you can't seclude them. Such people existed during the era of early Faith and how dealing with them was more effective than it is now. They were employed as guardians and had other jobs too, as opposed to what the recent society has brought them down to and turned them into, giving them no other option but to 'kusra dance' and used as pieces of entertainment.

The main and very important factor that needs to be taken is it's beyond their means and out of their hands just because their biology doesn't fit into the normal traditional definition of society.

Secluding further is damaging as it continuously plays into the hands of ignorance. Whilst accepting them is educating and overall will flourish Pakistan economically and socially.

Since Pakistan is now gradually coming out of a backdated era and fifty top educated scholars passed a law of transgender Marriage, rights, wealth and inheritance is a big step forward.

What the society needs to do is play a role in accepting them, so-called Maulanas shouldn't bar them from entering sacred premises. They hold no right, for The One Above's Mercy encompasses all living and breathing species.

Economically they contribute by having entitlement to normal jobs, employers should open their doors to them. This brings forth more revenue.

Socially they get perceived as 'normal' and not degraded to just sources of 'entertainment', which thus creates more tolerance and eliminates ignorance.

They are an integral part of Pakistani community and should all work together.

Now I have an idea how long it is when you say 5 mins. Told you you can't take the Pakistani out of you.

Nicely compiled.

A question if I may. Why do we have only historical documents from the kings or sultans?

Something's missing. Surely the phenomenon is older than that. Somewhere in between we have lost the facts.

I think a good starter would be to have someone from the medical team to start of how they differ in biology.

.
People also need to know difference between an intersex person (born with both genders) and a transgender person (who chooses to change his gender) but then again considering how intolerant our society is. Its better that people mistake transgender people for being born like that just so people don't harm them more than what they already do.

.
Let me tell you people a little truth, not every man is a man and not every woman is a woman. Sometimes the qualities of the other gender enters the person.
It's not a disease or something that is Unnatural.

So basically they are humans. So they should be given all the proper chances in life.

We have to see that the population boom is a fairly recent event.

Any religious information in Judeo-Christian scriptures regarding this?

My original piece had medical sources from professor Reis.

I've never denied my Pakistani roots, always very proudly embraced them, but I've never been made to feel like such an outcast as I have done here by some members only because I view things differently. So many other people do too. Different doesn't make anyone anti-Faith nor anti-state.

A person with common sense would understand if I had no interest in Pakistan what would I be doing on a Pakistani Defensive Forum?

I have met the intersex community. They are really nice and I'd probably feel a lot more safer around them then I would with a bunch of 'normal' fellas which again, reiterates society needs working on.

We need to be able to take constructive criticism

Ms. Robinson you can't have the world to your liking. You can't make everyone like you or be comfortable with. You should watch mean girls again.

I cannot issue a decree on your Pakistaniyat.

Curiously enough your usual frenemies gang did not show up here. Something's fishy something's Taboo about this illogically.

I am not an expert but most content i could find on them and comments by scholars on tv were extremely positive and they called for protection of their rights

Hmm... that is commendable but the society as in many other terms is not proactive for them and when they get voiced by NGOs we know how it ends up.

I have gone through some religious books where even inheritance is discussed for them and marriage. If the state is taking Zakaat from them then the State is indebted to provide them the rights.

Can anyone please confirm if the money he earns is halal?

Look at this image again buddy ..... and think why have you been so selective in raising an objection / question?

imrs.php

You have mentioned halal in your objection / question which is very much a term used in Quran, so I will take the liberty to bring in Quran and its message. Now if we look at this image properly we see that the people sitting behind the dancing person .......... their actions clearly show that they have money which is in excess of their needs, they have been holding this money just to waste it on their pleasures ................ Quran advises Muslims not to accumulate wealth and hold money that is extra to our need, circulation of wealth and money benefits the society ....... if these people had given away this extra money as Quran advises us we may have been seeing a different image .... this person wouldn't have to take on female clothing and dance in front of men.

Now if you don't mind can you please rephrase and ask is it halal for us Muslims to accumulate wealth and not let it to reach the needy and deserving in our society? And do keep surah 102 of Quran in your mind. Thanks

+, That's true bud. It was an objection, but you are right as well. The question is how are we going to guide these people.
