The LCH outperforms the AW-129 on most performance parameters! :sniper:

every thing is fine but the armament carrieng capacity which is unfortuenatly of LCH is half of what AW-129 Mangusta has so in a battle scenario if owr opponent has Mangusta's we need to have two LCH's against one Mangusta now what ?

not to mention Mangusta has far more supirior Radar & other avionic's as compared to LCH ?

But, it has got stealth ffeatures..And even in the pictures we can see that..
And now we can only hope for further increase in the payload in further versions..

Fortunately our guys have developed LCH to be a very flexible and cheap platform. It is basically designed to be a bang for a buck. Plus as the performance parameters suggest, LCH is capable of adding armaments and enhancing the performance of the current ones as the aerospace industry developes...

And how the hell do you know that AW 129 has got better avionics than LCH when the later hasn't even got its FOC??Have you checked it yourself or do you have any source that tells the avioncs used in both platforms and their capabilities??If you have please show them or shut the hell up.

And as for weapon carrying capability of both gunshis-don't rely on wiki blindly.Just check the thrust to weight ratio of these two and think for a second which bird should be able to carry more payloads as per your common sence (if you have got any).
Heck even the top speed of these two seems to be biased.

And to the thread starter:
PLEASE save this debate till the LCH gets inducted or atleast get the FOC.

Great pic!

Exactly, otherwise we see a mix of wrong infos and specs like in this thread. To point out some in short

- LCH can carry more than 4 ATGMs at it stubwings (most likely 4 at the inner hardpoint and 2 on the outer, which means a total of 12 missiles)
- LCH will not carry MICA or anti radiation missiles
- LCH (nor the AW 129) has a radar
- LCH has no stealth features, because it wasn't developed to be stealthy like the Comanche (internal weapon bay, retractable gun and gears, stealth shapings of airframe and pods, noise and IR reductions...)

But just like you pointed out, it is only under development yet and many things can still change till we see the final production version. So lets wait and see!

Is this image photoshoped ???

PS, but looks great!

Hey Sancho,I have a dout.As far as I remember, the IAF wanted the topspeed of LCH to be 25 km/hr more than 270 km/hr of Dhruv ALH.But the top speed of LCH as per weeki is just 275 km/hr.Won't that make a problem??
