2 crashes in a short life ..I really wonder if the 17 can fly successfully.
Single engine JF-17 in service for ten years......2 crashes,
Twin engine SU-30 in IAF service for some 15 years......6 crashes.
JF-17 being flown out to UK, China, Dubai, Paris, Turkey, Qatar, in some cases repeatedly.....
Can any of your aircraft match the record....also check your a Jaguar crashes....again twin engine.
Lastly after some 30 years most aircraft are near the end of service life.....Tejas has yet to start one.
Agree. They are similar in capability. The only difference is design time and price. India start to brag about Tejas since 80s. But the first flight did not start until 2001. Jf-17 started in 1995. First flight in 03, but entered service in 2008.
By end of 2011 JF-17 had completed 10.000 sorties, which has recently doubled to 20.000 hours flying for the Thunder including combat missions... for the lost of two aircraft, let's see when Tejas matches that and how many crash before then.
Turn for turn, loop for loop, which Indian aircraft can put up such display.
