Lahories Help!! Accomdation near township lahore

I am planning to move to lahore (township) for my new job. Can anyone please tell me if i can get a reasonable (5 marla) accomadation (flat/house) for 3 people at around 15000-20000/month there and which place near township would you recommend? and does loadshedding in lahore occur more in some areas than other? (as areas with less load-shedding problem would be a priority

Load shedding is almost the same in all areas, so areas does not matter.... Township is quiet big and diverse so cannot advise much... but you can get a good house in defense with the amount you mentioned.

You must try to find home near to your office coz traffic is getting terrible every passing year. For loadshading buy UPS/Generator, I think Wapda Town is the only area with less load shading in main city.

I will be doing specialization in LRBT eye hospital lahore. So any place near it would be preferred

that A spot is your work place, so in my opinion you better be able to get a first class house on Moulana Shokat Ali Road, Model town link road, or Khayaban-e-Firdos... PIA main market, I mean you got like a thousand options, your work place is in middle of everywhere... but the above places are recommended...

I can give you contacts numbers of some property dealers as well... but they are you cunning people, so you will have to deal with them by yourself, one thing is for sure, you can get a 2 room flat or upper portion house with separate kitchen and two washrooms in 15 K easily...

best is to reach out to your work place and ask there someone who can guide you about nearby accommodation.

This is so nice of you. Please post the contact numbers of dealers. I am getting the impression that all areas in township are equally good. I am planning to go there and meet dealers in the coming week.

like I said the best is to visit your work place and ask them where you can find accommodation...you will get to know easily and the nearest place too, also the staff at your work place will guide you about dealers, its better that you take their word over mine, as I may tell you about a dealer, who may contact another dealer near your hospital and then facilitate, its always a headache to follow one dealer leader to another and probably then to another... so its better to reach out to the one who holds the keys of flats and/or rent houses.....

mostly Lahore is developed the other side of the canal, it is like new Lahore actually..... faisal town, johar town are almost alike areas...

P.S. one advice: donot give any money for just showing you houses or flats around, these dealers or agents are crooks, what they do is show you houses, which you wont like, and ask you to give money after showing you 3-5 houses/flats, so again best is to go to the one who holds keys of those flats/houses and make it clear that you will only pay when deal is final *(half the rent usually)

Dear Doctor Sahib
LRBT is in A 1 sector. There are some flats (very small size) available in that area in the commercial zone. Houses in A-1 are of the size of 1 (500 sq yard), 2 , 4 and 6 kanal. Let me talk with some real estate agent in that area where u can get a flat / house at that cost.
With regards to load shedding, it happens in TS but at the same rate as that of other parts of Lahore
