No usually Southern cities are coolers comparatively to northern Indian states since there are coastal cities. Bangalore has probably got the best weather in India. However, due to coastal area it is usually more humid. Southern cities temp ranges from 32C to 45C during summers which in comparison to Northern states is still a wee bit cooler (35C to 48C). I am not including hilly areas
Delhi is in the North right, so it would be hotter down South I guess?
Anyway, there is an upside, i.e. massive potential for solar power generation.
