The figures of yesterday's rain are testament of it that it was not record breaking rain till yesterday:

To hide their incompetence, former PMLN Government appointed Officials like MD WASA etc are telling media that 38 year record of rain has been broken whereas Met department has recorded 139mm rain from 8am2nd July to 8am3rd July instead of 250mm or 300mm claimed by MD WASA and Media:

And not even record breaking rain till 6pm on the July 3rd as met office Lahore recorded 211mm rain and not 250 or 300 as WASA was claiming and being reported on Media during the day.

It was heavy rain but so should the drainage be designed and built for it for claims of development like Paris, specially when more than the usual heavy rains do hit Lahore hit every two years or so.

And yet a sheepish Kamran Khan was hell bent to prove that it was unprecedented and record breaking rain that affected lahore otherwise it wouldnt be as bad... as I said the Met office recorded 139mm in the previous and then 212mm rain in the past 24+24 hours and not 350mm in just one day as Media was led to believe and repeat in every news bulletin...
