Lahore Mob Terrorism: Couple Killed over Blasphemy alligation

If there was any other angle for these blasphemy cases, which seem to be on the increase, I would have seen it, by now. What was the reason for the mob burning the Christian neighborhoods, some time ago? If not rampant extremism in the Pakistani society. You cant pretend now that its not a problem!

The problem with your argument is, that there's no proof of the provocation by minorities, who are finding it hard to survive in hyper religious Pakistan and finding asylum in other countries even Thailand for God's sake, thats the problem. You just assume their guilt or that they must have done something, to provocate the majority Muslims. It doesn't work like that, always.

So, the blasphemy cases, are on the rise after the attacks on twin towers, even though the people know that the punishment by mobs, will be ten times more severe, than what it used to be?

i said it many time that burning minorities or killing them was and will never be a solution for that .. there can be two ways to tackle this problem ..
1. either Govt take stick action again those who are misusing the blasphemy law , as well punish those who are actually doing that .
2. that Govt should try to create a atmosphere of confidence between minorities and hard core muslims that some peoples are only using it ( blasphemy law ) for their evil ..

if you want to take out a solution for a problem you need to investigate .. not just give your judgement on some one without even looking into the matter ... let me relate an example ... have you ever heard of target killing in karachi ???
not all cases of murder are target killing , this is a fact that some peoples take out their personal rivals within the wave of target killing so they will not be much investigate ... not all blasphemy cases will be right .. but not all can be wrong ..

with what you are saying that as the USA increase its strikes within ME increase , the terrorism increase .. or is it decrease ??
it has nothing to do with that minorities know that what would be the possible reaction from mob ... no one has the death wish ... but again why are neglecting the act of provocation to create havoc in Pakistani society ??

. .
Thats how weak, their own faith is. All these acts of cruelty, show nothing but insecurity. Excessive acts of workship, for them. Because they think, that they have failed, in fulfilling their responsibility to God.
Extremism is on the rise among people, it has reached its highest degree now.

I understand what you have been trying to say, all along. Believe me, I do. I also agree with many of the things, regarding the whole act, which you have said. The part where I strongly disagree, is the provocations and minorities's mistake part, because 9 out of 10 times, it just happens to be a single word/allegations that proves to be the demise of someone, their homes and families. 99% of blasphemy cases are found to be this way, most of the time its just personal revenge or people venting out their anger on minorities because of what happening on the global scale. The former history of such cases, is so heinous that I dont find myself, even a tiny bit ready, to agree to it slightly.

You are exaggerating surely...?

In any case, hope the killers are caught. Rest in Peace again.

You think?

Only if they had been Muslims, you would have a "slightly" larger and better coverage on national media and PDF.

Whatever the U.S does with M.E. shouldn't be our concern, first of all. Since, we are responsible, not for every Muslim country, but for the one, named as Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to put things in perspective. The mere argument is that logically, the acts of blasphemy in Pakistan, shouldn't be on the rise after 9/11, since the radicalization that followed afterwards, ensures that such acts will be punished with much more severity, than they were done before. Does it make sense to you, that more non-Muslims allegedly disrespect the religion, while knowing all this? Knowing that they will be burned alive, slaughtered or beaten to death before any law enforcement agency could even make sense, of the whole situation? Or I should take your word, because of always valid principle of "it takes two to clap"? You know the concept of "deterrence"? It has everything to do with the possible reaction from the people! Unless of course, now you wish to argue, that its an American/Jewish/Indian conspiracy to create havoc in the Pakistani society :D

sir i would say even if 10/10 case are true in Blasphemy still there is no way that some bunch of mullah will have right to burn the house or kill the person ... let the govt do their work .. if everyone take law and order in their hand than , what is purpose of Govt and police ??
plus what my point is that , it will be a good step if the representatives of the minorities will come on public and tell peoples truth ..media is everywhere ... and i am 101% that media is not going take side of extremist mulla ... and yeah i agree that islam is more used for personal revenge rather than being a religion specially in pak .....

Kitni dafa, mere bhai?

They do it, they pledge their innocence, they say they respect Islam and Muhammad PBUH, they say they are being wrongly targeted. But this all, keeps happening.

.
Do these minorities don't have the rights of legal defence?
Public is court there?
Atleast public could have filed a case and could have waited for court's decision.
Many evils can use this law for their own benifits, and to take revenge from any minority.

It's a witch hunt. They are making the place ripe for isis to make an entry.

.
Blaspheme law needs to be scrapped, Responsibility of protecting God, His book and His Prophets should be given back to God.

That law in ur country comes into picture only when the couple would have been arrested and put on trial. The appalling matter is that the people gave them mob justice (or injustice) in spite of such a blasphemy law.

i know that is not our concern what is happening in ME .. i just mention as example ... its not necessary that if peoples know that the outcome of something can be horrible so they will prevent in doing that .....
and yeah we are responsible for everyone who is Pakistani citizen... as you might be thinking me a lunatic mulla ideology person than ,yeah i believe in a state where govt should equally treat everyone ... even if a Dog was unfairly killed will be asked question from the leader ... and in the cases of some urban areas of punjab for blasphemy those who were accused never been in position to have personal revenge on them ? what could be possible intention for those are accusing those poor fellow ? dont you find it fishy ??

ah and no ... not everything is Amerci/jewish Conspiracy theory ... but not everything is what it looks like :)

.
minorities not going sudden insane but act of provocation exist ..

well its not of a sudden but build with years ... let me see how many case of blasphemy were report post 9/11 ? now let me see your reply as you make this conversation a bit interesting with your stupid argument ... and i am all set for some more - rating though :D

Christians and Hindus in Pakistan must be really stupid especially when so many mullahs are on the loose....otoh, I think they are to not get the he'll out of there like the rest when they can.

bhai , why you forget we are Pakistani... itni assani se kahan aqaal aye hai ??
in the first place , my point not to come on media to prove their innocence .. but to clear their stance ... but i blame those religious leader and our govt to not to investigate those cases on proper way ...

its not about mulla on the loose , its all about poor law and order ...

Extremism is on the rise among people, it has reached its highest degree now.

i think it still can be control ... but you need proper law and order ...

I can think of a thousand Pakistani grievances, with the minorities, knowing the obsession with Muslim Ummah, venting out the global anger. It happens, it has happened. But then again, you will stick to "Christians are provocative". I will rather agree to disagree than continue this debate.

I know. But there's only a finite amount of number, even non-Muslims can pledge their innocence over the media. It keeps on happening. Unless of course, the law and order situation gets better, that will be the situation on the ground.
