Now Nigeria is a country that is similar that has a similar income to that of India although their ranking in HDI is well below India. Nigeria could look at India to improve its services, so how india achieves a higher quality of services with similar availability of resources.

Nevertheless, the executive order targeted seven specific countries that had been previously highlighted by the Obama & Bush administrations to be potential hotbeds of terrorism, however accurate that assessment may be, not merely countries with a majority of Muslims. If the latter were the case, the executive order would've also banned citizens from the KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, & UAE, which it obviously didn't.

Additionally, there have been reports of Syrian Christian refugees being denied because of the new ban. While Trump's personal intent may be up to question, his executive order in and of itself does not discriminate against Islam; such an executive order could never have been enacted in the first place since it directly violates one of the most fundamental rights granted by the First Amendment of the US Constitution.
