Korea Won’t Send Aerobatics Team to China Air Show

.
LOL the Americans have prevented us from copying/stealing some light weight trainer avionic secrets. Now we are having sleepless nights

A win for the US is a win for Vietnam here on PDF. LOL.

No. It's non-related.
At initial, American doesn't want SK to send that team to China. And SK didn't send that.
So logical to say American win, because they achieved their purpose.

Do you agree with me? "American win"

.
Dont need to go that far.
How about J-10 series, J-11, J-15 etc :-)

The above statement just show the American's respect for the South Koreans. What a boss :cheesy:

Yep, South Korea doesn't even have the expertise to build a 4th gen aircraft, let alone a 5th gen one.

OK, serious discussion, right? Good. First you need to define what is a "win?"

Win in economic terms? Or in political terms?

.
American win.
They lost, just think how Korean will consider such case ... American attend but forbid them to come, Korean has learnt a lesson what called 'FAIR' inside U.S alliance. :partay:

Just enjoy it, Big Boss watching u ~!

Korea, in the end, is part of the Trilateral Alliance. Irrespective of political and media reports. ;)

Well said bro. China should understand this. South Korea, its true they hate Japan more than anything they have against China, but still its the U.S who is the main player here and who makes the rule, so South Korea wont ever go against the U.S even if its means the U.S forcing them(against their will) to sit down and smile with Japan.:agree: So until China is way stronger than the U.S both economically and militarily in Asia, it will remain that way. Since both South Korea and Japan still have more to gain from staying as allies(or subordinates if you like) with the U.S than otherwise, since the U.S can offer way more to both than China ever can(well for now). So their interests indeed match for now, and we know countries still follow their interests.

Despite political reports, media overdramatization, the security alliance is firm. Annual briefings between JMSDF, ROKN and the USN secures this. The picture i showed in the top shows military brass of Japan , ROK and US. This is constant. So for the Chinese fanboys who think that Korea (ROK) believe that Seoul is a Chinese security ally, they have a whole lot of reality needing to swallow.

:)

Not entirely true. The three top interest of S Korea. Economy, North Korea and Japan.
S Korea depends on China for its economic growth.
S Korea's policy on North Korean has more in common with China than with United States or Japan.
Why would S Koreans use its resources to confront China when its real enemy is Japan ?

Go figure.

Real enemy is Japan? Do we aim our missiles or forces on Seoul? Or threaten Seoul with 'imminent' destruction like the fanatics in Pyongyang? Please.

As i said before, i myself have been south Korea few times, and i know the hatred they have for Japan. Its true they hate Japan more than any other country on planet earth(even moe than North Korea included.:agree:). However, im talking about the U.S influence/leverage over Seoul. The U.S is the main patron/bridge between both Japan and South Korea. So as long as the U.S is the dominant power in the region, South Korea won't go against U.S wishes/interests, since they depend on the U.S for almost everything. No matter how much South Korea hates Japan(i know they do alot), they wont go against U.S interests which involves having a close relationship between JAPAN-U.S-South Korea against a China/Russia duo in the region. U.S interests are better served having a Japan-South Korea bond chaired by the U.S. So expect it to remain this way in the foreseeable future.

South Korea has no choice other than to follow U.S rules/policies, though i do agree that had the U.S not been present in the region, then Seoul would have long taken agressive measures against Japan, even if it meant allying with China. However this is not the case, The U.S is still by far the dominant power in the region and this will remain this way for a longgg time to come.

BTW, I don't think South Korea will feel happy this time, since they were initially planning to use the Zhuhai airshow as a platform to promote their products, and now the US has simply jeopardized this chance with its own selfish motive.

Why the US is sending its own aircrafts to the Zhuhai airshow, but not allowing South Korea doing the same?
