Korea as Number One

I think germans like anglo-saxons (at least don't hate them),they are all germans.
And germans think south europeans as lazy and weak people.

The ancient Anglo-Saxon people belong to a Germanic tribe originated from the modern day Northwest Germany, but today they belong to two different group of people.

While Germans may show more respect to Anglo-American because of its strength, but they are still their political opponent nevertheless. :coffee:

Sorry,EURO zone is collapsing, the coalition between the Continental European nations is dragging germany's legs.
germans had to use their own money to save those lazy and useless south european *****.
That is the truth.

The only advantages I can see are cheap and fast installation, cheap and easy to repair after a natural desaster. We just don't want cheap and easy, we want safety and esthetic, thus a good city planing.
So now after scrambling to find information that you now know you were ignorant about, the only advantage that buried power lines have is aesthetics. We can only wonder why not everyone follow. So much for German superiority on this issue. Case closed on a nonsensical subject.

Sure by dodging my arguments.
Judging from your tepid response about space programs, it is YOU who are dodging.

Gambit: you didn't have electricity in 1890.
Did I say that? I forget, you claimed to be a journalist. We know they are good at twisting words to suit.

So what? But the development of the helicopter never stoped unlike your so succesful Space Shuttel that nobody continued to developed, not even your USA. Who is making false leap of logic here?
Your illogical leap of 'logic' here is that you are confused with pauses in progress to be theoretical flaws that cannot be overcome. You and the Chinese boys clearly have never studied technology as a history. The Space Shuttle was a grand experiment and incremental step towards reusable vehicle and as a pioneer any such will incur cost that is equivalent to R/D, which is naturally inefficient in the first place. Decades from now when the aircraft carrier is rendered obsolete because of superior weapons, intellectually dishonest people like you will turn up their noses and use the same argument to explain why their navies did not have the aircraft carrier.

Err, you forgot that I was talking about esthetic from the very beginning, e.g. not messy and ugly looking streets? What physical constrains are we talking about? All over Europe, we have all kinds of terrain, geological situations, climate, etc. and still you would hardly find any city with ugly and messy utility poles.
Physics, not physical constraints. Clearly you are ignorant about this issue. I will leave you in suspenders.

BTW, what about my argument about the big ticket items like washing machines, fridges and other white goods? Do you have anything like Miele Miele: Immer Besser, Gaggenau www.gaggenau.com, Siemens Siemens Home | Kitchen | Cooking Appliances | Ovens | Cooktops | Refrigerator Freezer | Microwaves | Ventilation Hoods | Ranges | Dishwashers | Coffee Maker | Washer Dryer | Laundry, Liebherr Domestic appliances?

The answer is: NO! :D
I do not see Germany or China with an SR-71 equivalent. So going by your simplistic argument, neither country can produce something like the SR-71.

Germany indeed would have been a superpower however it lacked the resources and it drove out some of it's finest scientists, Hitler's racial hatred of the slavs and USSR lead to another nail in the coffin.

He most wanted the land from the East Slavs. :coffee:

Did I say anything else but about esthetic? And isn't estethic one of the most important part of city planing?

Judging from your tepid response about space programs, it is YOU who are dodging.

What is so tepid in my respons? Clearify!

Did I say that? I forget, you claimed to be a journalist. We know they are good at twisting words to suit.

Yes, you reasoned that there were no utility poles in the Kaiserstrasse because you assumed there was no electricity in 1890 in Frankfurt.

It was a pionneer and grand experiment and it failed, thus there is no current and forseable programme to continue this project.

AC have been existing since WWII with a host of developements and a series of successing generations of AC. The Space Shuttle never had a successor and a more superior successor is nowhere to be seen.

Making personal attacks does not render your argument more credibility. So stop that!

Physics, not physical constraints. Clearly you are ignorant about this issue. I will leave you in suspenders.

What physics justifies ugly and messy utility poles? Explain!

do not see Germany or China with an SR-71 equivalent. So going by your simplistic argument, neither country can produce something like the SR-71.

Haha, we have been talking about civilian products (white goods) and seeing yourself losing the argument you have to resort to weapons to make a point. Pathetic!

You know what? Our military spending is ridiculously tiny and most of our money goes to welfare and improving the life of our citizens, making our cities more beautiful by burying our power line underneath not to murder people far from our home in order to loot and plunder.

Wernher von Braun - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Wernher Magnus Maximilian, Freiherr[1] von Braun (March 23, 1912 – June 16, 1977) was a German-born rocket scientist, aerospace engineer, space architect, and one of the leading figures in the development of rocket technology in...Germany during World War II and, subsequently, the United States.

In his 20s and early 30s, von Braun was the central figure in Germany's rocket development program, responsible for the design and realization of the V-2 combat rocket during World War II. After the war, he and some of his rocket team were taken to the United States as part of the then-secret Operation Paperclip. Von Braun worked on the United States Army intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM) program before his group was assimilated by NASA, under which he served as director of the newly formed Marshall Space Flight Center and as the chief architect of the Saturn V launch vehicle, the superbooster that propelled the Apollo spacecraft to the Moon.[2] According to one NASA source, he is "without doubt, the greatest rocket scientist in history".[3] His crowning achievement was to lead the development of the Saturn V booster rocket that helped land the first men on the Moon in July 1969.[4] In 1975 he received the National Medal of Science."

----------

Hello, Gambit? Wernher Von Braun put the U.S. on the Moon, not Robert Goddard. Get your history straight.
Von Braun was an important part of a much larger program (do you really think he designed and built the saturn V? fools) using ideas pioneered by Goddard, get a grip. (above ground utilities are easier to maintain, and in case you have no maps available the US is much larger than Germany, underground is prohibitive on many long stretches)

That's also why despite they don't like the French much either, but GB will still never allow Germany to take the control over France, because otherwise they will have no foothold on the Continental Europe.

Great Britain will never allow a single dominant power to unify continental Europe. Be it Germany of WWII or France under Napoleon or Soviet Union during the cold wars. Germany's position in Europe guarantees total war when they tries to become a dominant power among other strong countries.

Traditional Korean music is much better.
Well that doesn't sell overseas. Ditto for traditional Japanese and Chinese music too. You got to adjust your stuff to market taste for success. There is a good reason why Chinese music is unpopular outside of China.

Just as Korean drama, it attracts attention in short term but gradually lose audience
Not really based on the record export revenue this year. Top rated shows fetch $1 million per episode on Asian broadcast rights. This export revenue permits Korean drama producers to spend much more on production than would otherwise be possible on domestic broadcasting alone, and why Korean drama contents continue to see no opponent in Asian drama market.

Chanting Korea is number one will not boost Korean image, it will only do opposite.
Well, it is not I who came up with that term, a famous US economist named Clyde Prestowitz did.

China is a big continental country with lot of natural and human resources. So what if China at its current stage of development is still behind SK in some sectors. At its current speed, it will be only matter of time China will surpass SK in any current sectors that SK have a lead.

Taiwan and Hong Kong couldn't, in terms of the sophistication level of the society. China won't either.

Guys stop arguing with Chinese and Germans, They are of supirior race and they are not Human from earth, they have landed from Planet Krypton

Germans, maybe. Chinese, they are rice farmers from Burma based on DNA study.

whatever bonzi got and hide in their houses, chinese will just break down their door one day and take what we desire, like we did every so often in history, be it gold or women.

whatever they are number one of, bonzi are never number one military power on continental asia - that is the saddest part about bonzi and all their "number one" accolades.

be it gold or women.
There is no gold in Korea. All the gold in Korea were imported.

As for women, you better try to protect Chinese women first, 10K of whom are entering Korea each year as mail-order brides to poor Korean farmers.

Well, we do have enough firepower to kill half a million PLA troops in a month. So much so that the US doesn't plan to send ground troop reinforcements to Korea in case of an all out war; Korea has enough firepower to deal with 1.5 million communist troops alone.

lol, stupid bonzi, you aren't seriously suggesting that korea could stop the chinese army?

that is the stupidest thing i have seen on a military forum: you may have the firepower to kill a trillion people, and your enemy may have the firepower to kill a trillion people, but war is won when you kill before you get killed, and the entire korean race would have been long extinguished before you use up your trillion bullets. lol, is this wondrous military training how koreans were taught to believe they are invincible and their political history is glorious?

Most of them are korean ethnic form Yanbian.
Most Han Chinese girls consider bangzi as shi*t.:P

you aren't seriously suggesting that korea could stop the chinese army?
I am. The only area that will be receiving a major US reinforcement in the event of an all out war would be the airforce.

People talk about the awesome firepower of North Korean artillary; the ROK artillery is even more terrible, basically nothing left on ground after a firepower sweep.

Ok, the reason for 500K PLA troops dead soon is because the ROK stocks half a million rounds of MRLS rockets, so one rocket for the life of one PLA soldier.

Most of them are korean ethnic form Yanbian.
50% are Han Chinese. The government actually keeps the record of ethnicity too.

Most Han Chinese girls consider bangzi as shi*t.
Koreans who live in China say otherwise, they get laid like they could have never done back home, all because they are Korean men and Chinese girls would love to migrate to Korea by marrying one of them.

Lol,
it seems the idiot has completely forgotten the the Cheonan sinking Yeonpyeong shelling attack。

it seems the idiot has completely forgotten the the Cheonan sinking
That was a surprise attack.

Yeonpyeong shelling attack。
According to reports from sources within North Korea, North Korea lost 25 soldiers during that battle(ROK lost two. One was running back from the harbor back to base and was hit, while the other one was in the bunker, was bored, and went out of the bunker to have a smoke). The North Korean generals who surveyed the site after the battle were shocked by the destructive power of just three ROK howitzers(North Koreans used 100 cannons for the battle), and banned another shelling attack and this is why North Koreans didn't attempt another shelling afterward.
