KMT has once requested the US to nuke China

You keep calling me a "conspiracy nutcase" but don't provide any evidence in support of your empty accusation. I have never brought up the PRC's economy and it is irrelevant to this argument. It is a silly red herring.

And I repeat, yet again: I have never used the word "conspiracy" and I don't really know why you keep bringing it up. I have made no charges or claims of conspiracy against anyone or any institution. If you believe I have, quote the post so we can all see it.

When I said I supported the CPC because of their economic success, you claimed it was the "party line".

Now go to Google, and type in "China number 1 economy".

Results? Bloomberg, CNBC, Financial Times, CNN, The Economist, etc.

All Western media. No Chinese media is reporting it.

So according to your own logic, Western media is following the "CPC party line", in propagating the CPC's economic success story, even when we ourselves deny the report.

Which makes you a conspiracy nut, since the Western media obviously does not work for the CPC.

I have claimed no such thing. I haven't even mentioned the PRC's economic success or otherwise. If you believe I have claimed that media statements concerning the PRC's economic success or otherwise was the Party line of the CCP, quote the post so we can all see it. Once again, Chinese-Dragon, you are putting words in my mouth, but it won't work.

Easy, you said it right in the last page. Don't you remember?

And yes I support the CPC. Because they have lifted over 800 million Chinese people out of poverty in the past few decades, which has never been done before by any country, in ALL of world history.

Who else has done so much for the Chinese people? No one.

See, I was right. You've swallowed the Party line hook, line, and sinker.

Except that this is actually what the Western media says. Chinese media doesn't say it.

So according to your logic, it's the Western media that is propagating the CPC party line.

Which makes you a delusional conspiracy theorist. :azn:

.
If you hear so much CPC propaganda outside of China, maybe you are just delusional and imagining it. :P Paranoia does that to people.

And yes I support the CPC. Because they have lifted over 800 million Chinese people out of poverty in the past few decades, which has never been done before by any country, in ALL of world history.

Who else has done so much for the Chinese people? No one.

That's why I support them. For me it's all about the results. If they can bring economic development, lift my fellow Chinese out of poverty, then I will support it.
So basically...It is the end justifies the mean.

The problem here is that you think that how the CPC did became the ONLY way to lift those 800 millions out of poverty. The funny part is that the CPC had to IMPORT foreign expertise in economics and industries to lift those 800 millions out of poverty, the condition that the CPC created and sustained since the end of WW II.

According to Dr. Shih-Tsin Tung of Cornell, the political animal 'landlord' never existed in China before Mao and the CPC. That is not to say the landlord as an individual who owns land never existed. Of course there were landlords in China. But as a distinct political strata like nobility or royalty or the merchants, the 'landlord' as a class was unknown. Mao and the CPC imported the concept of the 'landlord' class wholesale from the Soviets. The CPC used it to inflamed the Chinese people against each other. Anyone, man or woman, who have more, no matter how slightly, than his fellow man/woman, could be charged as being a 'landlord'. Petty jealousy among the peasants became the norm. Agricultural output plummeted because everyone was terrified of having more from producing more. Then the CPC imported the loony idea of Lysenko-ism, also wholesale and also from the Soviets. Chinese agriculture suffered even more but every yr, just like the Soviet propaganda, record harvests abounds.

The CPC created the poor China from importing from the Soviets. Then they had to import more foreigners and foreign ideas to save China from the social disaster that they created.

But you support the CPC because patriotism demands it.

You have quoted the post where I claimed that media statements concerning the PRC's economic success or otherwise was the Party line of the CCP. Where is it?

You stated "And yes I support the CPC. Because they have lifted over 800 million Chinese people out of poverty in the past few decades, which has never been done before by any country, in ALL of world history."

To which I replied, "See, I was right. You've swallowed the Party line hook, line, and sinker."

And what you said about the CCP having "lifted over 800 million Chinese out of poverty etc." is not a media statement. It is your statement. And it is the CCP's party line. Well done, fool! You have repeated the Party line!

You just got owned, just stop, my friend @Redhawk LOL
Hardly, read my answer.

Except it's NOT.

Go to Google again, and type it in. The results are from the UK media, and other Western media.

Not the Chinese media, they never said that.

So you're accusing the Western media of selling the CPC party line.

Where in the Western media is it claimed that the CCP, to use your statement, has "lifted over 800 million Chinese people out of poverty in the past few decades, which has never been done before by any country, in ALL of world history."

The bragging is actually done by the West, which we used as a trolling tool against you. Our official words have always been that we are still developing and currently facing many challenges. These are the humble words from our media and official. The bragging and stuff is done through western media. You cannot argue with fact.

Here, from the UK media:

India Shows Why We Should Focus on Poverty, Not Inequality | Alastair Roderick - Huffington Post

Compared to China, the Indian model looks positively anaemic. China has pulled something like 800 million people out of poverty in the last generation, often attributed to China stabilising population growth a lot earlier than India, and investments in healthcare, education and infrastructure, rather than trying to equalise income as India has attempted with NREGRA.

And no other country has ever done that before (obviously), since no other country has that amount of people besides China and India. And India obviously has not done it.

Again, no Chinese media has said what I said. Check it yourself.

So you're accusing the Western media of selling the CPC party line. :P It would be hilarious if it was not so delusional.

China (which has never shown any interest in MDGs) is responsible for three-quarters of the achievement. Its economy has been growing so fast that, even though inequality is rising fast, extreme poverty is disappearing. China pulled 680m people out of misery in 1981-2010, and reduced its extreme-poverty rate from 84% in 1980 to 10% now.

That is one reason why (as the briefing explains) it will be harder to take a billion more people out of extreme poverty in the next 20 years than it was to take almost a billion out in the past 20. Poorer governance in India and Africa, the next two targets, means that China’s experience is unlikely to be swiftly replicated there. Another reason is that the bare achievement of pulling people over the $1.25-a-day line has been relatively easy in the past few years because so many people were just below it. When growth makes them even slightly better off, it hauls them over the line. With fewer people just below the official misery limit, it will be more difficult to push large numbers over it.

Of course not, they are reporting something which has been reported to them. That is only one article. Provide more.

You must be joking.

It's your turn to prove how my statement is the CPC "party line".

Since the CPC never even said it, nor the Chinese media.

Only the Western media said it. So you're accusing the Western media of selling the CPC party line.

Really? Can provide quotes from the official PRC media. Extravagant claims are made for the PRC's economy in the West.

No, I"m not accusing the Western media of anything. I am saying they are reporting what has been reported to them. Where is the source for the quote? How do you know it was not a CCP source that provided the information for the quote? Can you go that far?

You are still spouting the Party line on Taiwan, which what this thread was originally about anyway. You are still a believer in the programme and policies of the CCP and you believe what they say. You are a true believer in the Party, by your own admission you support the CCP. But you are a minority in and among Western-educated HK Chinese.

Conspiracies again.

What conspiracies, fool?
