No disrespect but I feel that many Pakistanis based in the UK, due to the decade long propaganda/bad press/reputation of Pakistanis in the UK, have developed a inferiority complex and some even a "gora worship" which has not created a healthy balance.

Those Pakistanis are UK citizens and as such should try to contribute to their host country in a positive way while at the same time keeping their Pakistani culture and traditions alive as well as affinity to Pakistan. The newer generations will forget all of this though eventually.

In the UK, from my experience, there is either those societal failures/extremists/caught between two world's neither capable to express themselves properly in English nor Urdu/Punjabi etc. or the successful wannabe gora lot.

Or at least those two polar opposites are all you often hear about but I expect that the healthy middle (that I talk and would prefer) are the silent majority. Hopefully.

As for this news, I don't see what there is to be proud about? The Brits robbed Pakistan throughout decades/centuries and although they left some valuable infrastructure and institutions such as our military and our founding elite were mostly educated in either the UK or British-funded universities/learning centers in Pakistan, overall there is nothing to brag about being a servant of a largely parasitic family that robbed half of the world and who don't have any political power yet live like actual monarchs of old.
