People in North Korea are also very patriotic, don't think they will not revolt unless there are obvious signs of mistreatments by the regime.

It is unlikely China will allow military mishaps to happen in and around its borders.

There is nothing China can do. Sending in PLA troops into NK means an all out war, and many of those troops will not be able to come home, as they are marching into a territory without an air cover. You know what happens to an army without air cover in a modern warfare.

So something will definitely be done should internal revolts happen in NK.

Doing something means an all out war and the Yellow Sea turns into a war zone. Now imagine what that would do to China's economy.

Doing nothing is the best solution for China.

Fact that both parties (China & US) are being very calculating when approaching and trying to address issues surrounding this region means neither parties will be sending any troops.

The US will. The Futenma Marines' job is to move in first and secure NK's nuclear weapons. That's the no. 1 priority for the US military. So do not assume that the US and ROK troops will not move in. They will at the first sign of NK revolt and civil war.

Now what will be China's choice? Just watch and let the war be over in 1 week? Or jump in and lose hundreds of thousands of troops and turn the whole Yellow Sea into a war zone?
