Golden opportunity for Turkey to swoop in and acquire the company (at least significant shares in it) for its own engine development.

Turkish-Ukranian relationships are on good terms these days...considering sale of military equipment and what not.

Yup I read somewhere that Turkey is signing some sort of tech transfer for their drones the Aknci.

There is a joint venture company between Turkey-Ukraine, it's name "Blacksea Shield", which will produce some of the Sich Motor products (or some products that will be developed on top of the existing engines of Sich Motor). We don't need to acquire Motor Sich, as long as Blacksea Shield operates in Turkey.

I think too many think too highly of motor sich. They are a decaying company. The acquisition are purely commercial value by a private Chinese equity. Their engine are not suitable for Chinese military project.

In fact ivchenko product are more valuable.

If anybody think they can get gem from motor sich for any significant product related to modern military. They will be disappointed.

Ukraine already sold all it's technology on the cheap to China.
The Varyag aircraft carrier and it's blueprints
The J15 prototype
The ice breaker
The world largest hovercraft
The world largest aircraft

Sich only real customer is China. US and the West has no need for Sich technology.
Sich will either go bankrupt and layoff a good portion of it employee which probably will end up working in China anyway.

Heck Ukraine even sold it's rocket tech to North Korea which now threaten US.

.
Indonesia should buy it if we have a chance

Omg, these dumbasses, such engine tech is only niche is lower end engines for trainers in China and some industrial turbines, Skyrizon was trying to buy it to service the existing customers both in China and globally. We have pretty much sucjed them dry in terms of engine tech, the only way forward is self development

With so much technology, I wonder why Ukraine is in such a bad state!

Honest Soviet people worked hard to create some marvell of engineering and now bunch of Western puppets, who can not create candle factory even if they want to, destroying all our legacy. I really wish some day to see trials on those "independish" bastards.

Their technology cater to USSR. Russia was bankrupt and the West had no use for Ukraine technology. US did not want any competitor. US even paid to have the USSR half built nuclear carrier Ulyanovsk scrapped. They then instructed Ukraine to destroyed the engines of the unfinished Varyag. But Ukrainians secretly grease sealed the engines and China said it was to be used as a casino. They then towed the Varyag to China ... under the nose of United States. They had to bribe Turkey and was banned from using the Suez canel.

As for the largest aircraft Antonov An-225, and the hovercraft Zubr how many country needs such a large capacity except perhaps China.

When USSR collapsed Ukraine economy tanked. Cost of living went up maybe 10x. It was every man for himself.

Look at it this way, USSR collapsed, former USSR states were poor, Ukraine was badly hit. There were no orders for the manufacturing, they would be going out of business. Ukrainian engineers found a way out by moving with their families to China and they made great significant contribution to China's development in return they are well taken care of for the rest of their lives. The legacy continues to live on in China, better China than the West which will in turn use it against both China and Russia. Many former USSR states became Western puppets so it's going to depend on China and Russia to balancing the West otherwise everybody would be bowing to these AngloSaxons.
