The problem that I come across with Indians in these discussions is that they use the status or condition of a small number of individuals to reach conclusions about the whole population. Look at the part about Abdul Kalam, Azam Premji, etc. You have to look at something (i.e. statistics) that takes the whole population into account, not just a small number of people. It is a proven fact that the conditions of muslims in India is significantly worse than any other major religious group. That's what you don't hear from Indians, what you only hear is what a 2 or 3 individuals are living like.

I think you could do well to save the advice to your compatriot who flashed some pictures to show All is Well with the Hindus in Pakistan, rather than me.

yeah to escape from very isolated incidents of caste discrimination, they illegally cross into Pakistan where they can happily face religious discrimination to the highest degree, beat up for drinking water from mosque and that too crossing one of the most militarised borders on the planet.

You sure have a very fertile imagination.

Look, the problem is that you need to look the aim of the OP. The OP wants to start a pissing contest, but the problem is that Indians are in no position to start a pissing contest here. I don't think hindus are in all great condition in Pakistan, but neither are muslims in India.

Furthermore, the OP discusses hindus in Balochistan - a poor province. They might just be using their religion to try to get into India.

These people should be immediately accorded citizenship and asylum on the part of the GOI .

It'll be interesting to see what the Pakistani Government 's response to this is. If they agree , it will mean they can no longer guarantee Religious Freedom and minority rights . These incidents prove more and more the extent of affliction Pakistani society suffers from because of Fundamentalism .

No matter what allegations of minority right infringement in India - and how many activists/Human right organizations/Foreign bodies point out

No muslim in India would think of migrating to any muslim -majority country because of religious discrimination. India's tradition of peaceful co-existance is unmatched .

Well that's what you will expect from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
A country that has endorsed Islam over secularity will have no space for Hindus or people of any other religion.

regarding pakistani hindus, indian hindus dont ve any rights to talk about them unless they ve pakistani hindu relative still living in pakistan.hence take ur BS somewhere else.

My opening post had basically two points :

1) Many Hindus are subjected to religious dicrimination in Pakistan due to their small numbers and due to laws like the Blasphemy laws.

2) Due to that if they want to migrate to India, they should be granted citizenship without hesitation.

Which of these two points you disagree with ??

As they have applied for citizenship of the Republic of India and want to emigrate here....We do have the rights as their future compatriots.

Hindu families seeking asylum in India | Pakistan | DAWN.COM

Here u go...from ur own dawn...still laughing????

QUETTA: Over two dozen Hindu families have approached the Indian High Commission in Islamabad for visa and political asylum in India after what they called growing cases of kidnapping for ransom and target killing of the members of their community in Balochistan.
This was disclosed by the regional director for the federal Ministry of Human Rights, Saeed Ahmed Khan, at a seminar on “Provincial Conference on Balochistan Crisis” here on Sunday.
Leaders and workers of various political parties and representatives of civil society attended the seminar jointly organised by the Actionaid and Association for Integrated Development Balochistan.
Mr Khan said that Hindus had been living in Balochistan for centuries, but in recent weeks several members of the minority community had been kidnapped or murdered, forcing them to seek asylum in India.
“As many as 27 Hindu families from Balochistan have sent applications to the Indian embassy for asylum in India,” he said.
Mr Khan said it was a matter of great concern and urged the government to take immediate measures to improve the law and order situation in Balochistan.
According to statistics of the Ministry of Human Rights, violation of human rights has been committed at a large scale in Balochistan and people are being abducted for ransom.
National Party’s vice president Dr Ishaq Baloch said Baloch youths had become frustrated because they had been denied rights and their national identity had not been recognised.
He said that arrest and disappearance of youths had damaged efforts to secure peace in the province.
Hazara Democratic Party chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara blamed ‘hidden hands’ for the poor law and order situation in the province. He said over 100 groups involved in kidnappings for ransom were operating in Balochistan.
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party’s provincial president Usman Khan Kakar said Pakistan would get stability, peace and prosperity if the centre recognised the identity and languages of all nationalities in the country.
