I'm an idiot because my brain refuses to accept that a human being has been living in the sky for 2000 thousand years without food or water? Okay, Let me remain an idiot. I don't want to suspend common sense for a belief like that.
So you consider Jesus PBUH a Jewish and not Muslim prophet and God does not have enough power to preserve Jesus in Heaven, but had enough power to reincarnate him into Ghulam Ahmed Qadian? Not to mention Jesus is buried in Kashmir, a claim that all local Kashmiris and even non Muslim scholars say is false. Yes you are an idiot, as for common sense if you believe in God then you believe in his essence in entirety. A part of his essence is being all powerful, if God can set the creation of the universe into motion then he can surely prolong the life of one man in heaven. If this does not agree with your "common sense" then perhaps you need to drop religion in its entirety.
tell that to sarkari muslims. They can't sit for two minutes without feeling the need to ram their religion down someones throat.
"And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, (all) Messengers have passed away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn your back on your heels?" (3:145)
"The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food."
If someone can shed more light on these verses then I may entertain your thoughts.
@Legionaire
There is no contradiction in my belief, that's with you where on hand you say no prophets can come but say Syedna Isa (as) will return. Anyway, what do you say about the above verses?
@Spring Onion
Syedna Isa (as) was a prophet. He's dead like all other prophets. The Qur'an says in the verse I quoted, I believe what the Qur'an says over anything else.
First of all wrong verse, second of all wrong translation
Surat 'Ali `Imran [3:144] - The Noble Qur'an - القرآن الكريم
Sahih International
Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.
Muhsin Khan
Muhammad (SAW) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.
Pickthall
Muhammad is but a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. Will it be that, when he dieth or is slain, ye will turn back on your heels? He who turneth back on his heels doth no hurt to Allah, and Allah will reward the thankful.
Yusuf Ali
Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude.
Dr. Ghali
And in no way is Muhammad (anything) except a Messenger; the Messengers have already passed away before him. Then, will it be that, in case he dies or is killed, will you turn (Literally: turn (s) over on) on your heels? And whoever turns (Literally: turn (s) over on) on his heels, then he will never harm Allah in anything; and Allah will recompense the thankful.
As you can see there are 6 translators here and not any add the word
ALL. In fact I am willing to bet Ahmadi translators are the only ones who add the word all in that verse. Also if you read the tafsir of this passage it has zero to do with Jesus PBUH as it came during a battle in which Prophet Muhammad PBUH was thought killed.
