I heard there is a crackdown on liquor establishments in Kerala?
Whose idea is this? Ethu mara makkri anu ethu cheythathu.
1) stand in the longest queue you ever seen and buy
2) Pay 3 to 4 times the actual rate in a star hotel bar and enjoy.....
3) Take a decision that you will not drink anymore in your life.....
This crack down is done by current establishment and judiciary...... The man behind this is "VM Sudheeran"who is the current KPCC president. out of 700 odd bars they have closed down 418 bars and cancelled licenses.... The justification was based on the auidt done on the quality of infra and facilities 9 years back.... all local bars are closed, not only that they have even cancelled the license of a 5 star hotel in tvm (govt owned)... So if some one want to drink you have 3 options......
1) stand in the longest queue you ever seen and buy
2) Pay 3 to 4 times the actual rate in a star hotel bar and enjoy.....
3) Take a decision that you will not drink anymore in your life.....
Its very risky.. Sudeeran is known to be have a clean image than A.K. Antony.. He wont bulge to any external pressure.. That was the main reason why they kept him out of any position inside congress.. But they had to make him KPCC president to voo voters.. Special caste votes.
See... this is why honest people are hated in India.
They ruin all the fun.
Thank god I am in new Zealand. Don't worry, I will gulp down a few Radler's beers in memory of my Keralite brothers.
how many seen thrissur pooram
Happy THRISSUR POORAM
I was planning to be in trichur, but misjudged the weather.... was there in kunnamkulam whole day and it rained heavily there around 2 pm, and i thought no vedikkettu and i cancelled my plan, but...........
So Sudheeran Malayalikallude Vellam Mutticho?
He was giving some data like the sales are reduced by 1.9 million liters..... thats a good sign.....
I suppose it is a good thing Alcohol consumption is being moderated.
How long do you think they start smuggling in the stuff?
They have closed down the bar which is been used by poor people, and these guys normally consume about 30 to 50% of their daily income on booze.....Now these guys are gonna depend on the beverages outlets for their daily quota.....But worries me is that, slowly there will be desi liquor, and that is a scary scenario....
I had 4 bars with in 1 km of my house and out of 4, three have been closed and the remaining 1 is a 4 star hotel....
