Almost every Kannadiga with an interest in literature knows that U R A doesn't deserve a Janapith Award. In fact, S L Bhyrappa has been denied a very very worthy Jananpith just because of his leanings towards the Right. I'm willing to bet that no Kannadiga will miss him if he were to depart India on Modi becoming PM.
