USSR was a powerful country with thousands of nukes and still it disintegrated into oblivion. Since there is no fixed belief and defined path for what is Hinduism, the terminology itself may have varying interpretations depending upon individual.

You are aware of origin of Hinduism since its inception as a philosophy from Harappan times through the Aryans et al, I dare to assume seeing your posts across threads.

Suffice to say, Hinduism is an amalgamation of philosophy and theology as evolved over centuries. When cow is considered holy and Ganga holy, it is recognition of nature as a giver and intent to give esteem and respect to it which due to ithe inherent nature of the human beings to give form to something that they could not understand, evolved into this. The basis of the same was that the waters of Indo-Gangetic plains, which the aryans inhabited, were fertile for agrarian societies to flourish, which if taken in consideration with the origin of aryans as proposed in CARs, wiuld make sense due to relative inhospitable climate and topography there.

Similarly, cow was held in reverance for the dung used as fuel, fertilizer, milk for curd and butter etc.

The basis of evolution of religions has a rationale. Hence, the posts so far which was in response to ramayana being the holy book.

Forget 48, before that Kashmir was a kingdom. Why don't you talk about Operation Gibraltar (1965) and Kargil (1999). And when did you succeed ?? Regarding liberation of Kashmir, it is the other way round, you just lost 65% of Kashmir and India succeeded in liberating that, since Pakistan was the first to attack Kashmir and occupy it. You better check wiki pages if your history says otherwise. LOL

FYI, India and Pakistan never achieved freedom, we were granted freedom because England was in a bad financial position after WWII and maintaining an army and managing assets far way could have put extra burden on their treasury. If that was not the case we would still be part of British colonies.

But India doesn't have that problem, because economically we are in very good shape and we don't have any logistical problem managing Kashmir unlike the Britisher's. LOL

When Nawaz Shariff say Kashmir will become Pakistan, Pakistanis have no problem, but when Sushma Swaraj rebuts Nawaz Shariff, Pakistanis have problem.

Well I am not very sure about the authenticity of source but what I know is soon after partition Liaquat Ali Khan addressed Jawahar Lal Nehru and urged him that India and Pakistan must join hands and take back the part of Kashmir China claims.

Who knew what was to happen in future. Now China supports Pakistan over its claim of IOK.

it is said that some areas of Kashmir were gifted to China by our president Ayub. pakistan accepted chinese sovereignty over askai chin and may be some more areas too and china support pak sovereignty over kashmir.

we are too much ill informed. like Gwadar was sold to india by Oman but the signed deal was undone due to Iran interference and Gwadar was then sold to Pakistan which was acceptable to Iran. we do not hear on these issues kept secret from the nation.

also now we have secret defence agreements with the wahabi kingdoms. people do not know about them.

when the people are ill informed, the nation will never stand on its feet and people like nawaz zardari continue to rule over them.

Kashmir is Disputed and need UN interference to settle the issue and Kashmiris are the key players.
