Amarnath and Vaishno Devi are two prominent holy sites among various others spread over S. Asia. How would Muslims feel if not only Hindus but if Christians or Jews had planted themselves in Mecca and Medina and demanded their own territory? And yes I'm an ex-Muslim living in the comfort of the United States to practice whatever I want without being prosecuted
