Itni barish say shehr doob gaya, amazing!

Seocndly, looking at the water inflow and outflow data, it is clear as day that construction on river routes and beds, and accumulation of garbage is the major cause of this.

How incompetent can someone really be to ignore all of this?

its not a natural disaster its man made disaster .... I mean just 300mm rain that too 3-4 days has done all this .... we can not accept it as Natural Disaster.
Not yet met the requirements of a "disaster". Please allow me to elaborate, every country has a national capability for dealing with emergencies and incidents without external assistance. In Emergency management this is referred to as the capacity threshold. See diagram below:
1657563481644.png

(c) Me - all rights reserved

When the incident regardless of its nature has overwhelmed the capacity threshold of the host country only then is the incident is declared a disaster as it has overwhelmed the capacity to respond effectively without significant outside assistance in terms of aid/logistics/specialist equipment and resources etc.

As such the incident in Karachi is an emergency, but it is by no means a "disaster".

Hope this helps.
