Really??? I saw it, But I loved it.... Guess what I even have met Lt col Mohanlal and His Movie with jackie Chan , Its about his own fathers Friend, one mr Nair Who had helped the Japanese While his father was fighting British here in India....

He is Pretty much Inspired by the Army and Is also Making a 26/11 with Major ravi as director...

Yup.. a few friends of mine saw it and said its kinda dragging and the worst major ravi made movie yet..

I think its time he stopped making movies without a decent script.

Casting is not bad, the script is..... There are many Movies where these two have succeeded.... The Director is an EX army man and the Hero is a lt col in army..... Direction is cool but the script is bad....

I agree with you he is over weight to play this role.

But i advice you to watch his movies.

these blind fans in south india wants to thron their old hero's in their 50's as
"saviour of the nation". agrees that how can a actor be given Lt.Col title ? What does he did to achieve that? Mohanlal during 1980's was a versatile actor not now.
mohanlal,balakrishna,chiranjeevi,rajanikanth all made mockery of acting as "Hero" while they could have moved off to character roles.. these old men have fanatic rowdy groups called fan clubs who pushed their shiyat movie to the viewers.

I have seen a few Hindi dubbed ones. And I know he's a good actor. My Mallu friends cant stop raving about his hits in the 80s.

Mohanlal joins Territorial Army

NEW DELHI: Film actor Mohanlal on Thursday was formally inducted into the Territorial Army and granted the rank of Honorary Lieutenant Colonel. Chief of the Army Staff General Deepak Kapoor formally piped Mr. Mohanlal at a function at the Army headquarters.

Lt. Col. (Hony) Mohanlal, who has been in the film industry for over three decades, has won many accolades, including four national awards. He has also been awarded Padma Shri.

He will be affiliated with the Kerala based 122 Infantry battalion (Territorial Army) Madras (Kannur Terriers). He is the second recent high-profile personality after Kapil Dev to don the Territorial Army uniform, a Defence Ministry release said.

Lt. Col. Mohanlal said: “it is truly a proud moment for me to have been granted an honorary rank during the Diamond Jubilee year of the Territorial Army. I will try to serve the Territorial Army to the best of my ability in my newly assigned role. Like others in our country, I pride the armed forces and it is dream come true that I can now serve shoulder to shoulder with our Officers/ JCOs (Junior Commissioned Officers) and men.”

The actor said he looked forward to witness the Prime Minister’s Territorial Army Day Parade to be held here in October.

A visit to his battalion would be an important agenda for him, he said.
