I think its better to SKIP Afghans and went directly to US. TTP in Afghans are already Turning into ISIS and if they dont take them out they would going to make their presence felt by showing off Brutality in Afghanistan at the same time Afghan NDS is using them against Pakistan rather then doing something about them. USA might have taken it as a pinch of Salt as TTP wasnt a huge threat for them back then but now TTP is turning into ISIS and NDS using them means ISIS and NDS nexus which is more then enough to piss of USA as ISIS is considered a Threat of Alqaida Level for them.
