Jordan Agrees: Israel Can Use Airspace to Attack Syria

no, Jordanian are A$$holes, i was actually referring that.

yea that is why you replied to my post :disagree:

and @BLACKEAGLE we do not lick Arab or Indians

Come on guys. Be civil to each other (and towards me too :) ).

Who gives airspace to whom is their own decision.

You may want to express your unhappiness. But the question at the moment is not about airspace. It is the despicable treatment by Asad the butcher towards his own people.

peace

Well thats not the first time that Jordan has given anything to Izzraeel....does Jerusalem rings any bells? :azn:

Actually there was a competition, sort of race between Jordan, Syria, and Egypt.

That who gives most area, most strategic one, or most holy, and who gives it the quickest to Israel.

I think in this way every one was a winner, the Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt all won.

p.s. Just like we Pakistanis and Indians were all winners in Kashmir, in E. Begnal, in Siachin, etc. etc.

We are all winners. or perhaps sometimes whiners.

What a wacky analysis, so, you are saying Jordan Egypt and Syria had some sort of agreement with Israel to give them more lands, and the war was just a play? I doubt that.

C'mon dear dear poster. Look at the context. I was responding to someone who was blaming Jordan for giving up Jerusalem.

Hope you get the sarcasm.

thank you

History cannot be altered on mere subjective interpretations....I stand by what I said.

Is this really surprising? Imo not at all. Just more overt on the part of the politically obedient and spineless dog in Jordan.
Hardly. Under UNSCR 1701 (Clause 15) third party U.N. members have right to use their air and sea forces to prevent Hezbollah from getting resupplied - and don't have to ask Syria or Lebanon or Iran for permission to do so.

Te language of 1701 is a bit tricky so the hidden meaning can be denied to the ignorant, but that's how the diplomatese works out. Moreover, this is how Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and the European nations (some of whom, like Germany, keep seaborne patrols) have been behaving for the past seven years. That's probably why Hezbollah, even though it reportedly has ground-to-air missiles, hasn't dared to use them against Israeli warplanes on reconnaissance patrols. I suppose that's also why Israel can attack convoys of weapons from Syria to Lebanon with complete diplomatic impunity.

Oh, you guys were under the impression Hezbollah "won" its 2006 contest with Israel? You might want to re-think that now.

Not sure if we even need the UN mandates in the Middle East.

Iran, Hizbis will continue doing what they have done for decades now.

And

in response

Israel will continue doing what it has done for decades now.

We have a saying in Pakistan.

---- Is hamam main sub nungay hain
(everyone is naked in the bath house)

Then why to blame the Middle East.

We in South Asia have been doing the same $hite for a long time.

But then, I am an optimist. So there is hope somewhere that we all will learn to live, and accept who we are.

But then, I wake up ;)

The Arabs always back stab the other Arabs. That's why the jews always win.

But again some times i feel that Arab and Gulf nation is particular are the smartest guy in the world politics and diplomacy...There are very few nations in this world Like Gulf nations, who has the access of all the good things of the West and also can shout Anti West Slogan in the west.... Hatss off to their leaders...

Jordan and the Arab world won't let the Jews drone the Islamist while the regime is still alive. Jordan may be suspicious about the Islamist fighters but it doesn't bother them right now. They support them against the regime but things may change in post Assad. Tho, I don't think Jordan or the West will care about them because they know that the 'secular' fighters are outnumbered while the Islamist are increasing and gaining more support. So Jordan doesn't have a choice and they will never ever fight anyone who fought against the regime. Believe it or not..stop spreading rumours. They are not true.

.
I don't understand why some posters are freaking out at this news. Jordan is a country committed to peace with Israel and honours the peace treaty (for the most part). Unlike Egypt.
If a chemical attack was launched toward any civilians the outcome of it will be catastrophic ,therefore a co-operation is needed.

@Doritos11

You do realize how connected we SAUDIS are to Jordan? FYI, nearly every 5-6 Jordanians have Saudi roots. Of course we care about them :D

People stupidity is unbelievable, no wonder they are at the bottom on every list. Man, Israel has borders with Syria, yet, why would it use our airspace rather than theirs? Not to mention that Lebanese airspace has always been open to Israeli jets which was used in raiding a Syrian arm shipment to HZ few months ago. The catastrophe is that one of Iranian high rank officers believed it and even warned from it!
