Someone please answer my below queries :

1- Will there be a service bond in this Short Service Commission? If yes then it means this is like a contractual job having short duration. So what happens when the bond is over? Do they renew the bond for few years or is it converted to permanent commission? Roughly what %age of Short Service Commission Officers get to have permanent commission?

2- Will an MBA Finance person be given the job in accounts/finance related department or will it be other type of job (security / administration etc.) ?

3- What is the maximum rank we can go to through this SSC.

4- What will be the training duration?

5- What will be the salary during training & after becoming Lieutenant ?

1. In SSC First bond is of 7 years. You will be considered for permanent commission every year after that. If not changed, second bond is of 3 years. However, it is very rare that Navy remove someone except some serious issue. Otherwise, eventually all SSC will be transfered to PC.
2. Yes, most of the time, you will be working In your field area, however; alongside you will be doing other activities which may varies alot.
3. It also depends on which branch you are working. In that branch, the highest rank is your attainable rank. Only Ops Branch people can become Vice Admiral
4. Initial training is of 6 month which is mostly physical. After that Second Phase training varies depending on branch
5. Salary will be of BPS grade 17 with some extra allowances

Cleared the initial intelligence test alhamdulillah. They have collected bio-data forms and and will call/text us after shortlisting. Next is the personality test so please guide regarding that if you can.
