After edit: and why only two males?

Dentistry is more so that not relegated as a secondary concern. I don't know why they only hire males though.

No I insist we go for www.askenigma947.com. Waisay tau aap kay paas har cheez ka jawaab hota hai :woot:

Oh yes i was expecting that.

i dunno why i feel that i am 'highly appreciated' at your end:agree:

Well i was just kidding, the answer to your query is, first we dont require many dental docs as there is not much of their utilization for obvious reasons. GD docs and specialists in other fields (surgical spec, medical spec, gyne, etc etc) have more utilization as compared to the dental spec. There are more bone fractures, blunt traumas, skin diseases (we dont like to take bath actually), accident related injuries etc etc as compared to sour tooth, so Dental docs would be required in less numbers. BTW, i have yet to visit a dental doc since i joined the military (a couple decades-remember?)

Now as for the 'male' query:

The Army has to keep in mind the requirement vs availability thing. Moreover, it has to see that can a male or femaik doc be posted to a place where where human:animal ratio is in the favor of animals i.e. the Army would not like to post a lone female doc at Sakardu, Kohlu, Badin, Dera Nawab etc etc for the associated problems, but yes, a male doc may be sent to these places. So keeping in mind these problems we have to restrict which sex is that we require in certain trades.

Hope that settles it.

P.S. And again it is the military's policy that if both the officer and spouse are in the Army the should be posted at the same station, but some times this policy is difficult to implement as the career profile, hard/soft area postings, compassionate grounds etc etc has to be taken care of separately, so these male-female thing has to be taken care of.

Yeah fair enough. Thanks

Now I wonder what makes you feel that way

May be it's the generations/miles-wide age gap between us that you aren't really able to catch on with what's going on :agree:

Well i was just kidding,

Aren't you too old to be kidding? :what:

There are more bone fractures, blunt traumas, skin diseases (we dont like to take bath actually), accident related injuries etc etc as compared to sour tooth, so Dental docs would be required in less numbers.

I hope the "we" means you are talking about yourself. Otherwise, yikes!

By the way does the army provide free deodorants/anti-antiperspirants --- or you guys sweat and stink it out?

BTW, i have yet to visit a dental doc since i joined the military (a couple decades-remember?)

Dude, how can you write that on a public forum! :what:

No, I didn't remember the couple of decades... it was more like half a century that I had in mind :P

P.S. And again it is the military's policy that if both the officer and spouse are in the Army the should be posted at the same station, but some times this policy is difficult to implement as the career profile, hard/soft area postings, compassionate grounds etc etc has to be taken care of separately, so these male-female thing has to be taken care of.

I have yet to receive a rishta from an army doc. But nevertheless your effort in giving a heads-up is appreciated

Now I wonder what makes you feel that way
The enamour that you have shown:lol:

May be it's the generations/miles-wide age gap between us that you aren't really able to catch on with what's going on
Ya i think you may be right on this one.:tsk:

Aren't you too old to be kidding? :what:
Does in your part of world people 'kid' as per their ages?

Dil hona chiyae da jawan, umeran che ki rakhaya!:D
I hope the "we" means you are talking about yourself. Otherwise, yikes!
Well most of us!

We like it that way, ever heard of something known as 'toe jam'? It adds more flavor to the stink:lol:

By the way does the army provide free deodorants/anti-antiperspirants --- or you guys sweat and stink it out?
No they dont!

This is what we do, after running the commando (35 miles with full combat load) they stuff us in a room that has only one door and no windows, wow! what a relief! This is how we train our men in Chemical Warfare, though they do issue us the gas masks when half of us have already fainted due to the stink!

Dude, how can you write that on a public forum! :what:
Does that bothers you?
Thankfully i have a mouth full of teeth, as i was even brushing them when i have to boil my paste and brush for 10 mins so that they 'unfroze'

BTW, i was thanking God that i was kept away from docs, expect the routine medical checkups that we have to undergo according to our age and service years!

I have yet to receive a rishta from an army doc. But nevertheless your effort in giving a heads-up is appreciated
Oh, so you are one of them:tup:

The enamour that you have shown:lol: :

Really :woot: Senile dementia i tell you! Or should i say typical army guy mentality :agree:

Does in your part of world people 'kid' as per their ages?

Yup! By the way we are in the same part of the world, surprising you aren't familiar with that.

Dil hona chiyae da jawan, umeran che ki rakhaya!

Well "mr. i left the junior category a long time ago", bohat kuch rakha hai umar mein. ask any woman

Well most of us!

Hmmm... YIKES!

Does that bothers you? Thankfully i have a mouth full of teeth, as i was even brushing them when i have to boil my paste and brush for 10 mins so that they 'unfroze'

Nope, not bothered by your dental hygiene at all. Though that was nothing to be so "enigmatic" about. I guess that was Siachen.

BTW, i was thanking God that i was kept away from docs, expect the routine medical checkups that we have to undergo according to our age and service years!

Hey, docs are the best thing that can happen to anyone. And trust me on that one. So you aren't that old after all, probably 30s. Older you get and the more service years you have, the more check-ups to cull you.

Oh, so you are one of them:tup:
Nope, was going to be but changed plans :)

Hense became dead poet romance society, and channelled that energy to be bossy and questionaty!!!

Nahi sir jee, was half way to becoming "one of them", then decided military isn't my cup of tea. Not the subordinate kind.

The dead poet society, i credit to all the mush-mushy lovey-dovey guys on this forum for the inspiration :)

And what's wrong with being bossy and questioning I ask :azn:

Really :woot: Senile dementia i tell you! Or should i say typical army guy mentality :agree:
?
What SD has to do with being hopelessly romantic?

Yup! By the way we are in the same part of the world, surprising you aren't familiar with that.
Yaeah, fauji jo hon.

Well "mr. i left the junior category a long time ago", bohat kuch rakha hai umar mein. ask any woman
Already asked:tup:
Dont worry about that.

Hmmm... YIKES!

Nope, not bothered by your dental hygiene at all. Though that was nothing to be so "enigmatic" about. I guess that was Siachen.
Enigmatic!?
(i'll say this one again):
Me sir?
No sir!

Anyone making use of the minutest common sense would have guessed that it was siachen. Anywz, still hats off for the guess!

Hey, docs are the best thing that can happen to anyone. And trust me on that one.
So when are you getting married?
Or did you already!

So you aren't that old after all, probably 30s. Older you get and the more service years you have, the more check-ups to cull you.
Hmmm... so i finally you spitted it out.
It was still about the age.
Ya i am around 30s and you?Grandma?

Nope, was going to be but changed plans :)
Phew!
A comrade was saved!

?
What SD has to do with being hopelessly romantic?

So you are hopelessly romantic, interesting. I can give you an honorary title in HRDPS.

Yaeah, fauji jo hon.

Proud fauji as your yahoo account says.

Enigmatic!?
(i'll say this one again):
Me sir?
No sir!

I'll say, hell yes sir!

Anyone making use of the minutest common sense would have guessed that it was siachen. Anywz, still hats off for the guess!
Phew!
A comrade was saved!

Listen, as you must have guessed by now, I am severely short on common sense. I am really really really dumb. Still chatting with you, what does that say about me ---- in fact, wait a minute, what does that say about you :woot:

I was planning to join the military not looking for a guy to procreate with! I'll say "Phew, I was saved"

So when are you getting married?
Or did you already!

Why are you interested in knowing that :azn:
And what makes you think I am going to tell you that!

Hmmm... so i finally you spitted it out.
It was still about the age.
Ya i am around 30s and you?Grandma?

I never spit. That's too uncouth :P

I am a nanha munna sa bacha. Am a kid at heart and mind --- forever and ever.

You are probably in the first half of 30s or late 20s. Your rashness and attitude and jingoism scream that.

So you are hopelessly romantic, interesting. I can give you an honorary title in HRDPS.
No thanx
Proud fauji as your yahoo account says.
Ya i know you have been lurking around.
Listen, as you must have guessed by now, I am severely short on common sense. I am really really really dumb. Still chatting with you, what does that say about me ---- in fact, wait a minute, what does that say about you :woot:
You are not as smart or dumb as you actually think, kakay.

I was planning to join the military not looking for a guy to procreate with! I'll say "Phew, I was saved"
If you made it through the military, i would definitely be surprised. Well you might also get through as they are short on gals!

Why are you interested in knowing that :azn:
And what makes you think I am going to tell you that!
Who is asking?
You missed the sarcasm actually.

I never spit. That's too uncouth :P
i admit you are guud at word play.
I am a nanha munna sa bacha. Am a kid at heart and mind --- forever and ever.
Yeah, roti ko chochi bolti ho or pani ko mum, and yes, roti we mo day bajaye kannan che poni aye

You are probably in the first half of 30s or late 20s. Your rashness and attitude and jingoism scream that.
Hey quit the psychoanalysis, you dont know nuffin. Except that my rashness, attitude and jingoism screams out. i am guud at it (thnx code sierra:tup:)

i'll credit you when i'll like.

Aww, don't get upset. I was "lurking around" around a while back, found your username funny. Not that mine on yahoo isn't but I don't put that on my profile.
By the way, I am a nobody. Unlike the many members on this forum I have no interesting tales to share, nothing in my life stands out.
And don't call me kakay, you don't know me. And you clearly missed the sarcasm in my statements too as well.

As for being good at word play, thanks for compliment.

Hey quit the psychoanalysis, you dont know nuffin.
Aww, I hit the bull's eye here probably :)

roti we mo day bajaye kannan che poni aye

What was this? You trying to compete with me in childishness?

Except that my rashness, attitude and jingoism screams out. i am guud at it (thnx code sierra:tup:)

You sure are. makes a good soldier (no sarcasm here) :agree:

i'll credit you when i'll like.
It really doesn't make a difference. Half the praise and hitting of thanks button here is too disingenuous for my taste anyways :)

Ques. Do you ever get tired of retorting?
