I have posted the paragraph based on what you were saying that the caliph had deeded Palestine to jews, in fact it mentions clearly that the caliph had very respectfully told your forefathers to simply Foff.

Please read more carefully. He promised that once the Empire was gone Jews could have Palestine, and once that happened a later Caliph agreed to fulfill that promise. The terms of that treaty make it clear that this Caliph was trying to prevent conflict between Jews and non-Jews in the region.
