this man is nuts to connect the talmud which is the holy book of jews which they consider to be word of god to sahih hadits which is actually the word of the prophet!!

every book was written by man, even quran, god didnt send the written book from heavens, if u say that hadits contain error then u should bring this topic to appropriate place..nobody is asking about hadits, dont derail the topic..

Talmud is a collection of ancient Rabbinic writings (based on the Tanakh) consisting of the Mishnah (the teachings, sayings, interpretations , explanations of many rabbis) and the Gemara(description of actions as done , recommended, shown or represented by the Rabbis), which, now that you've learned what they are, are pretty similar to the Hadith and Sunnah. The holy book of the Jews is the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), which includes the Torah.

What i meant to say when i said 'written by man' i meant man-made. The Quran may be written by man, but it's not man-made; the author is God.

And it's amusing that you're accusing me of being off-topic when it was Luftwaffe who brought up quotes from the Talmud.

Man, all I did was post some cartoons by a 15 year old kid and almost immediately a shitstorm ensued. Partly my fault for adding the Freedom Flotilla comics, which I should have known better. I just took off the FF related comics.

When I posted this thread, I assumed that people who do not know much about Islam and it's related controversies could take a look at it and see it from a different angle, not end up discussing the Hadith and Talmud and yadayadayada accuracy etc.

It is an acknowledged fact that the vast majority of Hadiths are false fabrications, hence they can NOT be taken as a religious source, but as a 'historical' source at best.

There are hundreds of hadith which say or order exactly what you just said above, and no i'm not talking about weak (da'eef) hadith, i'm talking about saheeh hadith.

Finally I posted stuff out of talmud for someone who derailed the thread initially bringing and offensively connected Islam with militancy as if all Muslims are militants, the word "militant Islam" is the creation of guess who we all know. Therefore I had to post stuff out of talmud to prove how "t" promotes killing/stealing, murder, militancy and on and on. Going further-more is irrelevant.

Corruption has entered the Hadith from the very beginning of their compilation. Prophet Muhammad didn't write down any hadith, it was his numerous followers that witnessed his sayings of doings which were written down or passed on with the word of mouth and then written down after authenticating them. It's pretty obvious that corruption could enter at any point.
