Why would we do that. Its one of the most beautiful and moving anthems out there. Also all those words are common in Urdu and Farsi. So its in Urdu and Farsi.

I like how Bangladeshi national anthem sound. It's a great literary work of Tagore, but it's perfectly understandable if parents don't want their kids to learn national anthems of Pakistan or Bangladesh after all it's up to the parents to decide.

Yes, it would have been better if BD had chosen a part of the composition as their anthem. Anyway, very few Indians other than the Bengalis would actually care to memorize the entire thing. Quite a few of our states have their own state songs, apart from our National Anthem and Vande Mataram.

Actually it is Dari, which was the official language of Pakistan region before the British.

Many people in Pakistan are in favor of reintroducing Dari, it would bring us closer to our cousins in Afghanistan too and make the latter shayri of Allama Iqbal easier to understand.

You or I can't speak for most Pakistanis, we can only speak for ourselves unless we have some data to back out claims.

I would rather have local Pakistani language as National language, or maybe we should give a task to our linguistic scholars to make our own National language with combination of all major regional languages of Pakistan and slowly start moving toward it.

It's shame that fifth largest Nation on earth is using foreign languages for official work.

Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran share the same Iranic origin, along with Kurds, so why should we abandon our ancestral language?

No, we share human DNA with all humanity, it's insult to fifth largest Nation when you name them Iranian or Indic.
