There is a high power requirement for EW units and cockpit/electronics even more hardened for RF.A jamming/ECM asset works best at very long ranges where it can be safely out of the range of enemy missiles. That said, reality is never ideal and you don't want to be at the mercy of a few AEWACS type aircrafts. Redundancy is built based on a cost/benefit analysis. The Thunder remains a light weight aircraft, even with the twin seat version. I wouldnt use it for area jamming. Strike missions where a weapons officer controls laser/TV guided bombs are more likely.
Jf 17 testing it's ejection seat ??

How can you say the build quality is improved?Wow. I didnot see that coming. It must mean that the JF17B has completed its testing and received certification that allows it to be use for training missions ????
Shame they could not engineer out those hinges entirely(reduced # of them yes.. but), damn ugly and unacceptable on a new plane in 2019 !!!
The paint scheme on the Myanamar JF17s are BEAUTIFUL !!
The build quality has gone up 2 levels from the original Block I JF17s aswell.
