lol indeed, Pakistan(巴基斯坦） is most widely known in China by its nick name, "巴铁"（Pak Steel).

The reason for such name is because the public opinion in China is that the Sino-Pak relationship is strong as steel.

There is absolutely no other nation in the history of PRC that has gotten such high standard name.

Haha, I'm not at all surprised. By the way, that link you provided was actually the Chinese equivalent of Wikipedia, which reflects how well known this term for Pakistan is in China.

Hi,

It can carry those two missiles----but that is not the problem----. The issue is with the balance of the aircraft after 1 missile is launched----this thing weighs what like 900-1100 KG.

So the weight distribution is an issue---. Secondly---with two missiles on the wings---and only one center line fuel tank----the range and flying time of the aircraft is curtailed a lot.

Technically you can say yes we can have two missiles on the wings---and use it on short range missions when the enemy has already come within 150-200 miles of your shore.

But practically this system is there to keep the enemy 400-500 miles +++ away from the shore unless the enemy is ready to accept heavy losses and still push inwards.

I think its weight is under 1000 kg with a 300 kg warhead. JF-17 can carry those but as you said the range will be very limited.
For that purpose, we need a few JH7, Su-35. I think even 10-12 of these birds will do okay but I guess we need two sqdrns at least keeping in mind enemy has installed barak-8 and Iron-dome systems.
One more suggestion is either to acquire DF21D or develop similar land/sea based long range anti-ship capability.

The range and the warhead would determine he final weight----.

Land base missiles are good---but they cannot do the job of deep strike aircraft.

JH7B would still the right choice for a strike aircraft----.

I am agree with you ,we have need of a full size bomber as JH 7,OR SU 35.
