JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

You misunderstood me brother.

Here, have a look at this pictorial collection of JF-17 Thunders.

There are currently 50 Block-1 Alphas produced and 59 Block-2 Alphas produced for the PAF.

I have photos all of Alphas from Block-1 but
I have only 57 out of the 59 photos of Alphas from Block-2.

The photos that are missing from Block-2 Alphas are for aircraft numbering 249 and 250. I've been waiting for these since 2017.
Can you post an image of 19261. I must have missed it.

These numbers; 260, 261 and 262 have gone to Nigeria.

An acceptance ceremony for the aircraft – serials NAF720 (c/n FC10260/2P-60); NAF721 (c/n FC10261/2P-61) and NAF722 (c/n FP10262/2P-62) – took place at Makurdi Air Base in Nigeria’s Benue state on May 20.

I've not collected individual photos of these aircraft from the ceremony yet but I'm sure I've seen the CAC markings on them. Ill try and find them.

Interesting set up for the Serbian delegation. Notice the dual rail launchers for the SD-10s.

Would really love to see "formal" confirmation tht PAF does operate the JF17 with Dual-Rack SD-10s. The fact that mock up shows this, does not mean PAF has decided to operate with them, in the same way that China has integrated more SOW/PGMs on the JF17 than PAF has procured and operates.

Dual racks has a one drawback they creates lots of drags hence affecting the range as well as speed of JFT, I think that's why PAF is not using dual racks in their peace time operations but in case of full Flege war against India the option of using dual racks remains Open

Ànd last Buddy for Air defense patrol (CAP) or ground attacks on the enemy fighter jets always comes into formations not stand alone configuration so I think that's why PAF is not using dual racks on JFT

Has to do with range and endurance

Thid may change once rd93ma comes into play

Amazing thing about JF17 is that it looks like other aircrafts at different angels, sometimes f16, f20 tiger shark, F18. and at some angles just pure unique

JF and any other jet looks best with its freakin wheels retracted! One problem with JF is that the wheels stay down for so long I don't know why? That's why in all the armature photos taken from the ground it always has it wheels out. There is a huge shortage of google-able pictures of it with wheels retracted! Which makes it look unproportioned. Once wheels are retracted it looks sleek and sesky! Maybe the avionics don't allow the wheels to be retracted below a certain height or time after take off? Or the aircraft is so stable that pilots don't feel the drag from the landing gear? For some weird reason both JF17 & JF17B suffer from this problem!

I hate the lack of proper photos of this jet in the air! PAF needs a dedicated photographer for it!
