Thanks for sharing the article! Really interesting to know how the french look at the ongoing modernization on both sides.why experts suddenly started to compare JF17 block-3 with one of the best 4.5 generation fighter jets. Even few giving edge to JF-17 against coming F-21 in Kashmir sector as shown in below link
As is often the case, it is not possible to determine on paper which device performs best in absolute terms. The F-21 is heavier, carries more weapons and has a better electronic warfare suite than the JF-17. At very high altitudes, however,it loses its advantage both against the JF-17 and against the Pakistani F-1 6C, especially if the latter are one day modernized with an EASA radar offered by Turkey. In addition, between two jets, each equipped with an AESA radar having around 1000 transmitter / receiver modules, the performance of the radar / missile pair will undoubtedly be much more decisive than that of the launcher. If the JF-17 Block Ill integrates the PL-1 5, and if the latter really carries to + 190km, it will then be necessary to see if the USA is ready to deliver the AIM-120D to India. In the meantime, the latter mainly intends to bet on the Rafale / METEOR couple, which has proven itself

yup proud moment for Pakistan. Even Indians are worried in-spite of purchasing Rafale due to PL-15. I always admire PAF for their decision making regarding jet fighters. First in 80s by purchasing mighty F-16s and in 90s decision of developing our own fighter jet. Thanks for sharing the article! A clear marketing pitch for more Rafale by creating doubts against F-21, it has nothing in favour of PAF JF-17 or F-16 fleet.why experts suddenly started to compare JF17 block-3 with one of the best 4.5 generation fighter jets. Some people keep on complaining how the JF-17 could have had more hardpoints, a conformal fuel tank bla bla. What the people dont understand is that there always remains a room for improvement. We had no experience with jets, we didnt possess a huge industrial base to support the development and we have been tight on our finances since ages. Still we managed to develop a platform that we can improve over time and slowly the world is realizing it. Alhamdullilah.yup proud moment for Pakistan. what is the actual likelihood of a beefed up F16 arriving in india? it will take years to arrive get assembled and years to train the necessary crew to make it operational. Then on the other hand Pakistan has operated the same aircraft for ~40 years so they know its tactics and capabilities. Number of JF-17 can be increased with a tailored weapons package for desired role making it truly versatile. Then the entry of the third revision of JF-17 BLK-3 which only adds to the platforms abilities following on the F16 block building approach.why experts suddenly started to compare JF17 block-3 with one of the best 4.5 generation fighter jets. Blk 3 is a wild card here PAF can produce as many she wants along enhance her capabilities according to her needs. India's Rafale or F21 are already neutrilize by PAFs blk 3 double rack PL15 along PL5 AESA new EWS HMDs what else a plane needswhat is the actual likelihood of a beefed up F16 arriving in india? it will take years to arrive get assembled and years to train the necessary crew to make it operational. most importantly there is never going to be an issue with parts or maintenance.
New Recruit

Please calm down ... so far we haven't seen any confirmed PL-15 on any JF-17 and even less a double rack, not even on a J-11B or J-16
no question about it that JF-17 proved to be much more capable than it was expected at the time of design to just replace F7 and old Mirage fighter jet and JF-17 will definitely improved more and more in coming yearswhat is the actual likelihood of a beefed up F16 arriving in india? it will take years to arrive get assembled and years to train the necessary crew to make it operational. If the JF-17 design hasnt changed then there is very little possibility that the internal fuel capacity would change either. Maybe a little bit optimisation of the internal space envelope here and there, but a significant change in the internal fuel capacity is out of cards.Any chance they've increased the internal fuel capacity of Block 3?
