Is it nose cone showing bigger size mean AESA testing?????
no normal...btw this is 50th block 1 jet....different camera views make nose size different for thunders....and btw block 3 wont have any nose changes as already nose is sufficiently large to equip aesaIs it nose cone showing bigger size mean AESA testing?????
No just a close up giving that impression. Is it nose cone showing bigger size mean AESA testing?????
Interesting payload.
I think people got excited as it seems there is an additional pylon under the air inlet. This could potentially house the ASELSAN pod when it becomes available. Now what I would want to see in addition to the above is a DER for SD10. That would give us a decent load out of 4 BVRs +2 WVRs.

Unlikely, the jet has acceptable performance for current PAF needs. However, there is a possibility of adding an enlarged spine to even the single seater jets to accommodate more fuel.Although JF block-3 final design is not yet revealed but can someone tell me if there will be any possibility of CFT addition and also how many total SD10s BVRs with dual rack option can the thunder carry. Basically i m assessing how far it can prevail against Rafale or SU30s.
J31 and TFX have way long to come in that senario how much technical gap JF can cover
4.5 Gen aircrafts like Rafale, EF, SU35 etc have 11 to 13 hard points.Although JF block-3 final design is not yet revealed but can someone tell me if there will be any possibility of CFT addition and also how many total SD10s BVRs with dual rack option can the thunder carry. respected senior and knowledgeable guys...plz tell me is it possible to aski china to tailor KLJ-7A for us with irst to integrate it behind nose of thunder just like flankers rather mounting it externally thus saving hardpoint and also providing better lift...

Number of missiles are not the prevailing factor here anymore. Situational awareness and tactics are.
