He just gave his media report image and share it with me ,, and said that media is reporting that deal is for 16 fighter jets for 560 million USD (including training and weapon systems)Cannot open the attachment.
Edit: Can see it now. It is just a picture. Where is the official confirmation?
that's $35 mil per jet. If this cost includes weapons and training then its quite low.He just gave his media report image and share it with me ,, and said that media is reporting that deal is for 16 fighter jets for 560 million USD (including training and weapon systems)
I am trying to find credible link or anyone statement regarding this

Federal Minister of Defence Production, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and the President of China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC), Yang Ying, along with high-ranking PAF and Chinese officials, stand in front of a line of new production JF-17s during the December 28 ceremony for delivery of the 16th aircraft produced in 2015. Members of the production team behind them form a ‘16’ to mark the occasion. PAC Kamra
PAKISTAN AERONAUTICAL Complex (PAC) Kamra achieved the milestone of manufacturing 16 JF-17 Thunder Block II aircraft during 2015, as it continued to ramp up production. A roll-out ceremony for the 16th example was held at PAC Kamra on December 28.
Chief guest was the Federal Minister of Defence Production, Rana Tanvir Hussain. Also attending were Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and the President of China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC), Yang Ying.
The documentation for the aircraft was handed over to ACM Aman by Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed, Chairman of PAC Kamra. Also handed over during the ceremony was the first J-17 to have undergone a complete inspection and structural assessment at PAC Kamra. This forms the basis for the future overhaul cycle for the PAF JF-17 fleet.
ACM Aman said that, despite having had to overcome various challenges, it was anticipated that the production facility at PAC Kamra will be able to achieve its target of producing 20-24 aircraft per year. AFD-Dave Allport

by Chris Pocock

Further exports of the Sino-Pakistan JF-17 “Thunder” combat aircraft have been reported, following an initial sale last year, which is now known to be 16 aircraft for Myanmar. According to Pakistan's President Mamnoon Hussain, Azerbaijan and Nigeria are both interested. But a proposed sale to Sri Lanka has been opposed by India, according to unconfirmed reports.
A Nigerian newspaper reported that the country’s 2016 defense budget includes funds for the acquisition of threeJF-17s, as well as 10 Super Mushshak basic trainers that are also produced by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC). The JF-17 is a joint project between PAC and the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation. The Nigerian air force currently flies Chengdu F-7 fighters and uses armed Alpha Jet trainers in operations against domestic insurgents, as well as Mi-17SH, Mi-24V and Mi-35P attack helicopters. But a senior NAF officer told The Fighter Conference organized by Defence IQ in London last November that the service wants to replace the Alpha Jets soon.
Speculation that the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) would become a customer was prompted by a visit to Pakistan last November by the SLAF commander, followed by a trip to Sri Lanka by the Pakistani prime minister early this month, when the deal was expected to be sealed. But according to India’s Sunday Express newspaper, Sri Lanka’s plan to buy eight to 12 JF-17s was strongly opposed by India. The SLAF currently operates Chengdu F-7s, as well as IAI Kfir and MiG-27 jet fighters.
All JF-17s are assembled in Pakistan, but China retains around 40 percent of the total workshare. After initially receiving 50 Block 1 versions, the Pakistan air force is taking delivery of 50 Block 2s. A Block 3 version with a new radar and internal targeting pod is planned, and a two-seat version is due to fly in China late this year.
so we are sure that 19 planes will be exported and new engine would be there
