Why China is not interested in JF-17 ? or they have a plan to induct them in the future

I don't know why people are obsessed with China going for JF-17? You need to understand China is in a different mode, they are currently working on atleast two known 5th gen fighters in addition to one 4th gen fighter.

They need power projection from their air force, they need parity (of some kind) with US and they need to be one step ahead of india, a threat to their security specially after new found love affair with US.

If they are already focussing and investing on three air superiority fighters, why would they focuse on a smaller jet?

^^ but jet engines same as car engines have an ECU,and thats siftware based electronic control.

I believe softwares are used only for control and monitoring purpose, they can not improve physical performance. An increase in Iq can't make you run faster

I dont know about jet engines...but my car engine did perform better after a software tweak in the ECU

The JF-17 uses a digital monitoring system, but as such cannot control the engine via an ECU or as such.
Its the same as having an old carburetor type engine fitted with various sensors. You will know all the details of the engine.. what temperature is it running, oil temp etc.
But at the end of the day.. unlike an ECU.. you cannot alter the engines performance until you take it down and do it manually.

To be fair, that looks ugly!

Might suit a F-16 though (US Thunderbirds have a similar scheme).

That red and green scheme on inaugural display was a killer, so something along those lines (minus China flag), or even a Pak flag would do.

Would be interesting to see what results Photoshop reveals.

but what about their J-7s..
can they replace all of them with 5th gen???
