Did we ever get an good answer as to what the focused interference system is? … … I am reading a bit on the applications of DRFM jamming and I am thinking the two are the same thing or very much related. Any thoughts?

my source is tight lipped on this as i tried hard for him to give a little hint. All i get is somethings cannot be discussed till appropriate time so i left him alone.
I am not a technical guy but what i think of it, is that it is a high powered, agile frequency, internal jammer with flexible digital radio frequency switching (DRFM) that can direct jamming frequencies at any particular threat. It could be more than this....

My dear, don't take it as an offence but your knowledge about defence is zeroooo. Specially when you start that L15 thread as JFT blk II, So please correct yourself because PAF bought blk52 at 80+ million each plus if you include the AIM120, JDAM and other stuff it crosses 100million $ per unit..

$20million price tag is from 1980s...
thats how much it costed during 1980s, now after adjusted for inflation it would cost nearly $35-40 million
