What happens when China (imagine China like John Travolta from Broken Arrow), goes like "Eula? Pfft" and supplies Pakistan anyway? What happens despite all the Russian objections, China still provides it to Pakistan?

Ooh, ooh I like to hear the answer for this one... What in your Indian minds do you think would be Russia's next move towards China for doing so?

the answer is simple..

Russia will jack up the prices of arms it sells to china in the future.. adding a hefty trust deficit premium......

Chinese being the shrewd business type will pass on that premium to Pakistan..

and viola...ull have your spanking new shining Jf17 with smuggled russian engines(and no spare parts) plus a 45 million $ price tag and russians will have their pound of flesh!!

russians can even sell arms to taiwan if they wish coz they know china cant do any thing about it... they know chinese will just buy more in number of wat they are selling to counter the arms they just sold to taiwan..

When did Pakistan got its RD-93 RUSSIAN engines? Thats not included in these 50 years? Oh yes of course. There were reasons.

Actually Malay the engine in question undertook long duration testing some months back. It is ready....

Key, its not that it might not be ready. Just there is no news about it. Suddenly a dude posts that "it is ready" lol. What are we supposed to do then?

BTW, undergoing long duration testing means that the project has advanced a lot, but does not mean that it is ready. Even after long duration testing a lot of work has to be done to bring the final production version. It cannot be completed within a 'few months'.

Yes it can be, since it is a re-badged RD-93; I dont even know why they are testing.

No,its a reverse engineered RD-93 with Russian help. But still making the engine poses a challenge.
