Jets Over Islamabad...

I've confirmed from my source (very senior and already active service official) that there is no such activity going on in Islamabad.

Then what made the jets even come here, where fighter jets rarely fly? There were like 4-5 of them, there must be something going on. (And no, I was not hallucinating. They were UNDOUBTEDLY fighter jets.)

Okay,nothing big is going on. But again, is there any explanation to this unusual activity?

For getting to nearest border these jets esp F-16s do not have to cross Islamabad first.

And how is that...Is;nt an F16 squadron based in Noor Khan AB..

They are auditioning to appear in Oscar's 2018-19 simulation warfare to counter IAF's strike package.
That activity is now around for some days or so.The magnitude is not that high like that was in highmark 2010 exercise or during the hostilities.In Islamabad they don't do much.Little bit to the periphery or other parts of the country and you may be able see the use of counter measures,but that i understand happens rarely.

I believe since the server is US based, it logs the local time which is some 9 hours behind PST.

It might have been that but the difference varies from a couple of hours to some 6, 7 hours at times indicating that this is not the case.
There is some other error and i guess the administration will be able to sort that out working with the IT people/web developers.

Many friends are also reporting massive movement of helicopters over Rawalpindi. Either it's exercise or something else

Nur Khan Base is basically a hub of transport fleet of Pakistan. PAF wud deploy 4,5 fighters (F-16s, JF-17s, Mirages, F-7P/PGs depending upon which Base is assigned to deploy a detachment there) for ADA duties in Nur Khan only when needed.

I was looking like F7 PG brothers i saw my self at 2100 hous and 2000 hours myself.

When ever fighter jets are stationed in Nur Khan base, you can be sure that either there are hostilities or some exercise is under way....i understand these days a detachment of F-7s is operating out of there.

It was F-7 pg i saw them.

So someone shows up on the forum with Pakistani flags and says, hey guys I heard jets over bla bla bla, can some one confirm what's happening, and the super active PDF stupidos layout the complete plan? Please think before you type, jet flying over a city is a pretty normal thing, no one in his right mind considers it an "event" and please don't help out your potential enemies by giving out location of your jets

So there is a possibility that an F16 on ADA flies from Noor Khan AB...Innit???
