i was goona buy ath m50 last year at black friday sale..............god pro coppers instead:D:tup:

How's the sound quality of the pro coppers compared to the m50, how does the bass sound?

I want to get a IEM too when I have enough money. But I always feel like I'm not getting my money's worth when I see the tiny size lol.

Pro coppers cost me 280$ and they are crap for that amount to be frank here..............the only good thing is isolation and lifetime warranty.U heard that right:D

But its true, with iem u will never have that soundstage that u will have with an over the ear cans.
Except maybe if u get something like shure 846 or sennheiser ie800 after spending 800-900$

oh man,,the only flaw is no detachable cable,,,dammit.

cannot spend this much money with fixed cable
Why do you need detachable cable for earphone? They are already small and compact.

Apple is fucked especially in developing countries,,,plus i hate a close os,,it just sucks.
I need something that i can control after rooting the phone,,,,,,,android
That is one of the very reason people like Android. Root.

That sounds like a no go for me.

The beyerdynamic custom pro looks pretty good too. It has a switch that can turn into a closed back for extra bass and switch to make it a semi open for soundstage. It's a little bulkier than k545 and m50. personally I would kinda be embarrassed wearing it in public but it might be a good fit for your head.

I would just get the Logitech Ue 6000 since its cheap. If you like the sound, then give it to your girlfriend and buy the UE 9000 version. It will be an upgrade in terms of sound and built quality.

Iem's don't survive long and the problem is most of the time in the wire,,,,generally either where wire enters the earpiece or near the jack.

So a detachable cable is better if u are gonna spend a fortune on them,,,,plus there are different qualities of cables u can use.
Pure copper, sliver coated, pure silver etc.........it does affect the sound in a subtle manner

The problem I have with beyerdynamic is it's ugly. lol You are right that it's embarrassing if someone see I"m wearing it. I like the k545 design but the plastic build quality scares me.

Logitech isn't known for audio. That concern me. I like brand that specifically cater for audiophile. My gf doesn't like over the ear. Her head is too small. LOL

I see. Look like it's a good investment for my gf. So you recommend any under $200?

vsonic gr07 be(130$ approx)
hifiman re 400(100$)
yamaha eph 100(150$ approx)

The first 3 are analytic sounding and balanced...............if u are more into pop and electronic music get eph -100

It's only the cup/driver housing that is plastic. Hinges and headband are metal. Worst defective stories are defective driver that has lower volume than the other side. If you're willing to take the risk and get a good copy, you'll be happy.

Ue 9000/6000 are from Ultimate Ear, they have good reputation in the industry. I think they used to make good IEM too, he-man might know. Logitech bought their company and just rename their products as Logitech.

Man, too expensive for a tiny product lol.

Don't worry, we will detox you from the Apple disease.

. . .
Already debated man,,i think it goes for 80-90$.......
But over the ear stuff is not my cup of tea

Yeah just noticed Xunzi mentioned it on his earlier post.

If you want cable free earphones, then perhaps the Jaybird BlueBuds X is something for you. It will do away with those long ugly cables and so you can enjoy your music on the go, without the need to worry about your cables getting caught or all tangled up in your pocket
