Our soldiers were merely adapting to foreign rifles used by the Mongolian Army and the Russian Army, both of which participated in the same exercise. Normally the standard issued rifle by the Japanese Army is the HOWA Assault Rifle. However, in this case, our Army troopers went in to adapt to the local military inventory....
