What are you implying?
Please.. sell this garbage to someone who doesn’t live in the US. The only way that statement comes out of you is you are a NRI.
The US is multicultural, and diverse.. but there is very little of the kumbaya nonsense you talk about.
Step outside of a few IT firms and all of this talk of Indian integration and white inclusion falls away.
The only states I haven’t touched with my feet in the US are the rust belt.. and Ive seen all the inclusion nonsense you talk about.
Tolerance is one thing, but there are always gojng to be racial/religious tensions in countries simply because that is human nature.
Heck there are gender tensions, and you’re trying to fool the audience here as if no one has ever been to the US.
And btw, please try to fool someone who doesn’t have access to ALL of your posts and your tendency to stick around Indian topics.. unless there is also a natural “American” affinity to focus solely on Indian topics.
There is a risk of challenging you (as in mods) and your assertions ala BAN.
Even so - I'll add two bits.
1. I was speaking about the desire and ability to integrate. You say I should not try to educate because others have been in America. Well, let's look at your post. You went on into the negative side of a small percentage of Americans. You see while you were traveling in my country, you forgot to notice it's diversity perhaps. That melting pot has year on year more people from outside wanting to come in. I've never known people wanting to go somewhere where the turmoil exists ' outside of IT firms'. Hmm, kinda opposite of your narrative.
I wonder if you saw a gentleman by the name of Mr. Khan at the Democratic convention. A Pakistani immigrant who was heralded as the kind of person/ representation of the sort of nation we are.
But please understand this- if we were not the most tolerant, most welcoming, most freedom and rights loving, our country would not be the beacon of 99% of people's aspirations and destination.
2. Yes, I have never made a secret I am pro India- they are not anti-American like almost every one of you lot and others. I interact on a Pakistani forum, where 99% of members and topics are a mix of Pakistani, Chinese and Indians. And on topics that involve them and those involve the U.S. too. If 90% topics involve China, India I go there. To avoid a ban, I avoid most Pakistani topics. I have been respectfully interacting with Pakistanis too because I know how it works here if one has to stay unbanned. The day Russians, Syrians, and Iraqis are your majority members and source for a majority of topics- I'll jump in there too.
OH BTW- for someone who has access to my profile. You seem to have not noticed that 99.99% of threads I start are Chinese related.
And now my ban comes soon. Just when I was having some great conversations ... Oh well. Thanks for indulging.
