Han identity is on the same level as African identity.
Languages evolve, cultures evolve, the history of man and civilizations goes on, and always makes changes. At any given point of time, a civilization will identify themselves as an identity that resonates and captures the essence of their existence and living memory. There is no living memory with Chinese. Only old history.
Maybe people in the US and the United Kingdom should still be speaking Old English, you know, that funny looking English of the Shakespearean day. Or maybe Japanese should speak their version of Classical Japanese, or 古典, even if it is radically different like how modern English and Old English are radically different. Or maybe the western world should be speaking Latin, because your urgency of what is old taken some sort superior validity of what is today. Or maybe Chinese people should go back to using Mao approved hair styles. Or maybe go back further and maybe the Manchu language should be reestablished and Chinese men should go back to having long breaded hair while bold on the top. Or maybe maybe what Chinese should do is not use that Manchu imposed hairstyle and go back to whatever hairstyle they did before the Manchus forced upon the Han Chinese that long breaded hair with the bold top head.
Or maybe... keep it simple.. quit trolling.
