Japan says its ready to join U.S.-led sanctions on Russia

China is the world biggest energy importer and consumer by a big margin and is still growing day by day, what's wrong with Russia selling energy to China?
Nothing wrong but Russia will become a slave. Biden says he will cut off USD to Russia banks. That means Putin will knee on his way to Beijing if he needs dollars. You can dictate the terms.

The Kuril Islands, referred to as the Southern Kurils by Russia and the Northern Territories by Japan, were captured by Soviet forces following Japan's surrender to Allied Forces in 1945.

The resulting disagreement over who has rightful ownership of the islands has soured relations between the two countries, contributing to their continued failure to sign a World War II peace treaty.

Japan has territorial disputes with every single neighbor, namely PRC, ROC, Russia, North Korea, South Korea.

Russia has more or less decouple with the west. No sanction will work. Meanwhile if Russia cant Nord Stream 2, there goes all Germany economics planning.

If Ukraine was not so eager to pick fights with Russia and just lived peacefully with its giant neighbor like Kazakhstan, Belarus...No harm would happen to them, but their stupid pro- west government and public chose a confrontational path which brought the nation into this helpless chaos.

Peaceful Russians lol

By 1848,. Russia had gained control of Kazakhstan. The ruling khans were stripped of their titles and Kazakhstan became a Russian colony. Almaty was established as a fort in southern Kazakhstan in 1854. By the 1860s, the Kazakh steppe was surrounded by Russian fortifications and military outposts. This helped to strengthen the Russian Empire by expanding its’s borders and creating buffer zones between it and its enemies.

Belarus was retaken by Stalin's Russia in 1944 and remained under Soviet control until declaring its sovereignty on July 27, 1990 and independence from the Soviet Union on August 25, 1991. It has been run by authoritarian PresidentAlexander Lukashenko since 1994.

I mean after their independence in 1990's, Ukraine should really not to mess with Russia and become so pro west. I was not talking about Russian empire, Russian empire did invade many countries and occupy a lot of lands, but that is not the point I m talking here.
