Get's the ball rolling too. The companies later give experience of the move (to other companies) and tell everyone else the water is fine to join etc.

I don't see the Japanese companies on the list going to india. I guess Shinjo isn't in a hurry to move the companies to India.

Japanese companies dont' have much left to offer to China, if not leaving now, will be eaten alive by Chinese domestic competitors very soon.

Perfect they can come to us.

no need for boycott. when they produce in Vietnam, their quality will naturally lower and their price will naturally increase. they will naturally be phased out of the market.

unlike certain countries, Chinese only buy Japanese products if the quality is high.

I would welcome if “made in China” sounds high quality in the future but today it is not.

Despite cheap labor over all cost of manufacturing and running plants in India is bit expansive. Without Govt. promotion, subsidy, tax incentives, it's difficult to assume that the companies will be interested to manufacture in India unless we make it mandatory for them to do some value added work in India sell their goods in Indian market.

Labor reforms and Land reforms both of which are basic requirements will crash any Govt.. so pretty sure unless some party doesn’t want to crush itself they will never be passed as required for long time to come...

The cake is big enough. We can take for granted like rains in summer many Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese will come to you. India is a big market too similar to the size of China people tend to forget.

Competition is big too among countries to attract those companies fleeing communist China.
