Japan is looking for a replacement!

Japan is considering top notch fighters these days to replace its F-2 aircrafts soon. Japan can handle the expensive cost and in return all it wants is a well equipped advance fighters which can shoot chinese aircrafts like birds (well thats what their theory is)

Although it might seems un realistic, but i believe JSF and Raptor can do well at this. Japan is a very close ally of United States and it seems that if not Raptor it will get the JSF some how!

Japan has already been named as a possible first overseas sale of the F-22 Raptor. As a huge F-15 user its only logical that Japan would acquire a downgraded version of the F-22.
