What is general public response to the muscle power being shown by Jamat.

They were not jamat but most of them were other islamic parties. Govt backed ulama league also were on that protest.
They came to street for so called jamat spreaded propaganda. And jamat also provoked them to do vilolance.
But on the front line of violance there were jamat-shibir and islami oikkojot.
First of all most of our hujurs are illiterate. They dont use internet or computer. They got all the propaganda from jamat backed organizations. They are very strong to spread propaganda and they use modern facilities.
BD ppl are so soft to their relgious view. They cant tolerate any attack on their religion. So mass ppl's view has divided. But they are not dumb. Now sane ppl has started to understand who were all behind these.
But looking at there protest it was clear that those islmic parties' main agenda was to save the religious fundemental politics.
They didnt properly protested against the attack at Islam.
Now top level gov spokesmen satrted to talk only to ban jamat and no other religious parties. Which I also support.
Now in that case jamat has become alone again.
Jamat has played a big game of shame with their old weapon of islam. But these moududi jamati dont follow islam properly. Islam is a peaceful religion it doesnt support violence.
There r so many proofs of those propagandas they made and they r still to come forward.
But in an Islamic country these plays will not work for long. Ppl r islamist but not jamat. So there r some confusion but when the confusion is gone ppl will gather together again.
