Jamaat registration cancelled

banning a party means awami s afraid of losing at many fronts in coming elections.

if jamat is so unpopular then why awamis are afraid?

The test would have been if the people of Bangladesh voted out JI party not the politically motivated courts.

Read the article first before commenting!! Jamaat was not banned fully but their trademark has been banned and it has been banned to participate in the national election as some of the party charter goes against the constitution of Bangladesh. However if they change the charter and re-appeal they will be allowed to take part in the election again. Under present circumstances they will have to contest independently or under the banner of BNP or under the banner of new trademark and their MPs at the parliament also are not gonna loose their seat and Jamaat can continue it's political activities.

Jamaat is an anti woman party and does not allow woman to hold top position but in the same time is a partner with BNP under the leadership of Khaleda Zia despite their anti woman policies. Whats your opinion on these anti woman view of Jamaat??

 well trade mark is the identity of a political party. damaging it banning it removing it means you are creating confusion in the minds of voters and thus inflicting heavy losses on the political party.

For example here in Pakistan the parties fight tooth and nail for their election symbol since these despite landmark popularity of known parties help in cashing votes of common public specially the not so much educated ones.

as far as anti-women policies of any party i am against it. I believe women are aware enough to fight back the nuts thats what we are doing here in my country and i believe Bangladeshi women do it as well so lets not lose trust in women because of such policies

There should be a limit for conspiracy theory!! Now after the propaganda like 2500 hefazot activist were killed on May 5 night we may hear angels also came to make BAL win. This is a cyclic process in our country that no party will held power for 2 consecutive terms. Specially this is because people has no other alternatives and after each 5 year seeing the corruption, looting and plundering of the part which is in power, they think may be the other one will be better next time. After massive corruption by Tareque Zia and Co. at Hawa Bhaban it became certain that BNP was going loose!!! If anyone say otherwise either they have no knowledge about it or they are hard core liar and saying it only to support certain political parties.

If really there would be a massive corruption and BNP would have known it they would for sure brought it to the surface. But nothing like that happened mainly because there is no truth in it.

This is unfortunate that in our country no politicians and political parties has the matured mentality to accept defeat. They only knows how to say no, fraud, illegal etc.
And dalali shouldn’t go unabated either. Whether 2500 or 1 Hefazoty was killed, needed an impartial investigation but RAWAMY dalals denied it. And no angel but FUA, MUA shaitans overstayed from statutory time; infect starting from MUA’s snatching drama to conducting election were all illegal but with Bharoti, Empire-angel’s nod it got legalized. Now, don’t practice ‘Daan Vante Shiver Geet’ here as dalal of UR type knew very well that RAWAMYS never came to power with honest mandate but by practicing ‘Churi Biddya Boro Biddya, Jodi Na Pore Dhora’ niti, so UR lie of ‘cyclical process of not coming to power consecutively’ died premature death over there. Given the opportunity’, People always have spoken through ballot but lately that have started to get hijacked. The further of URs or is all hog washes that doesn’t even warrant any reply. I rest my case with that.

Time has come to ban Jamaat: Nasim

http://www1.bssnews.net/newsDetails.php?cat=0&id=348820&date=2013-08-01

DHAKA, August 1, 2013 (BSS)- Awami League presidium member and former Home Minister Mohammad Nasim today congratulated the High Court for cancelling the registration of Jamaat-e-Islami.

"The High Court could read and understand the language of the people of Bangla and their expectations. Honour and respect were shown to the people's demand through the judgment. Time has come now to impose a ban on Jamaat," he said.

Nasim came up with the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a prize distribution ceremony followed by an Iftar Mahfil in the city.

Bangladesh Chess Federation organised the prize distribution
ceremony of the International Chess Rating Competition at the conference room of the National Sports Council here with its vice-president Syed Shahabuddin in the chair.

Former joint secretary of Awami League Mozaffar Hossain Paltu
and director of the Prime Bank Limited Sirajul Islam also spoke,
among others, at the function.

Nasim, also a senior leader of the ruling Awami League and the spokesman of the 14-party alliance, said, "In its election manifesto, Awami League incorporated holding of trial of the war criminals and a ban on their politics. We are heading towards that goal. Trial of the war criminals is on. In a judgment, the High Court today cancelled the Jamaat's registration. For this, I extend felicitation and thanks to the High Court."

Terming Jamaat-e-Islami as an anti-liberation force, he
said, "They (Jamaat-men) had made many children orphans in 1971
and they also made many fathers emptied of offspring (children)."

Nasim said Jamaat-Shibir has been identified as a terrorist
clique by unleashing anarchy over the past two years. "People of
the country are united against them. It's the demand of the time
now to impose a ban on them (Jamaat)," he added.

Dalal Nasim, where were UR such realization, when UR Netri asked for Golam Azam's prayer? Why didn't U become such a prophet then, when queen of all dalals took the Jaamati lead on interim issue? Nasim, people saw RAWAMY of UR type's picture in front of innocent deads, so don't try to be their advocates, infect no one even asking U to be his, so don't act like Gaye Manena, Apni Moral's type.

Not aware of any anti-women policy though I hear of the old 'no women leadership' thingy. Now the chief responsibilities of any government are to establish rule of law/ good governance and safeguard the national security- all else are secondary. To this end eligibilities to be considered first are honesty, discipline and foresight. All other large political parties lag behind JeI by miles in this regard. JeI would always get negative press because they are aware of our Muslim cultural identity which shapes their geopolitical views that are out of sync with the views of those who are either anti-Islam or practice Islam as a mere pastime. In fact this later group of people, even though a minority, they have been in control of the policy making bodies of BD since '71. They crippled the country's education system to manipulate the mind of people in learning things that are not right or half truth while completely avoiding certain things to further/ hide their secret agenda. As a consequence our young generations have become much more ignorant of history and geopolitics than those of other nations in this region.

ASAD Bhai, I'VE been hearing US,EU don't want JEI's leader's trial but they have already been punished. Have U heard US, EU briefing against it? Now, comes the ban and U are repeating the similar. I think that U haven't got to the bottom of the issue yet.

1. This trial has been a circus from the beginning. SHW needed to keep the so called Leftists happy, and retain India's support for her and her family. The Judges appointed in the ICT and the prosecutors are all a bunch of jokers. Only shows how non-serious SHW has been- except to exact blood money. There haven't been enough evidence, the proceedings have been marred by controversy. Remember Skype affair. And no court allows a law or ordinance to be effective if it has been brought in after the indictments. These guys will all walk free once the elections are announced.

2. Let's not jump the gun. JeI has not been banned -till the full judgement is available. If the HC has pointed out discrepancies, etc JeI can always make them up.

Why are these Indians acting like Jamaati being removed from the electoral role is a blow to Jamaat politics? Lmao! Do you really think a party like Jamaat could manage the country? Forget religion, because these Indians think Jamaat is a 'extremist' group, well then they've yet to see. Majority of the country are with BNP and once BNP come in power JEI will be back in registration.

Bindoo's, shut up.

JI is banned, now no one can call them Razzzakaar if they come with different name, a good riddance for JI walas. On the other hand, BAL will still be tagged with Dalal.

First learn some historical facts. Dalals are those who worked for Pak in 1971. That again
goes to Jamaat with their infamous tag raazakar.

And female wings the jamaat have. Its part of their sex jihad. Jamaat leaders use them for
pleasure and money. Their leaders like syedi openly make speech against woman leadership.
This confused party has actually many faces. On one face they are
secular democratic party. Which got hindu wings too. But again got a name Islamic party.
On the other face they want to bring shariah law in BD.
So can we believe this notorious party.Whose history is so dark that its worth of $hit. In its life time it
got banned 4 times.
2 times in pakistan period and 2 times in BD.

JI is currently more popular than bastard AWAMY-League. Even after wanton rigging and terrorizing; Recently AWAMY dalals lost in 5 cities by big margin. So, it's fair to say that dalals have lost all the sympathy, swing and even confused one's votes by now whereas JI's consistence stance on 71's saga as oppose to dalal's inability in producing proof of their claims have made JI more popular. The core difference of vote betwen JI and AWAMY walas were around (15-8) 7% but matrix changed over the years as once's imbecile youth grew mature and many stopped buying Muktijhudder product of dalal-Feriwalas.

I guess you haven't got the lesson of it. Above from 'Bally Shikha' indicated that practicing an art made a perfect learner. So,
it wasn't who said what but how things got established through practices. Like repeated lies of RAWAMYS caused JI wala earning RAJAKAR tag, continuous calling of AWAMY walas as 'Dalal' made them such. And it was the lesson of recent history.

its not awamileague matter. the rulling was done by highcourt division. don't speak nonsense
You are giving too much credit to Awami League kagaroo court ruling. And for Awami League, people of Bangladesh already have spoken. All these Awami Kangaroo dance to keep people like you in line in face of dismal future waiting for Awami League.

i stopped reading after the bold part ....it amazes me that there is so much ignorance among some people ............
@Mattrixx please at least do some research about JI.... meet some JI activist if you can....then draw your conclusion ..........
i know there are many reasons for hating them .. but the bold sentence is utter BS
